Absolute comfort for business or pleasurePosted Jun 26, 2015
Pros: The bed! It was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on with very clean and soft sheets. Too bad I was only there for an overnight stay.
Location: A couple of restaurants and bar are conveniently located in the hotel. Tim Horton's coffeeshop is across the street!
A quick business trip took me to Grand Forks and the Canad Inn more than met my expectations for one of the most comfortable overnight stays I have had in a while. My room was very clean and comfortable. The king size bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on with very clean and soft sheets. Too bad I was there for only one night. A future stay with family and/or friends will definitely bring me back here at this hotel, as there is a huge pool/splash play area that's great for everyone especially the young ones who'll want to be entertained.

Best place to stay in Grand ForksPosted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: 4 nice places to eat in the hotel
Cons: I wished the casino would have been open on Saturday night.......the hotel rented the sports bar out so guests could not go there and drink/gamble
Nice clean hotel. Water park is good for young families.....nothing special for teenagers.

Break in the drive to the World CupPosted Jun 14, 2015
Cons: game room for the kids is small and unentertaining. Pool area is great for guests under 8.
Location: Downtown river walkway, attached to a major venue/arena, close to shopping, many eating establishments, U of ND
Check-in was easy. The room is a typical hotel room with enough space for 4. Good location within minutes of downtown and many nearby dining and shopping options. Many different entertainment and dining options on-site, as well. Hotel staff were all very friendly. otel is directly off the highway and access to it is easy.

Exactly what I neededPosted Jun 9, 2015
My son and I went to Grand Forks for orientation at UND. We got in late on Sunday night. It was so nice to walk into the hotel, be greeted by 3 people, and helped immediately. We were in our room and in bed very quickly. Everything was perfect. The bed and pillows were clean, soft and very comfortable. We woke up refreshed and ready for our long day on campus. The bathroom was also clean and had everything we needed. The décor is updated and elegant. The breakfast was good and served fast. The business center had adequate technology, fast internet, bright lighting, and was centrally located. The hotel is attached to the minutes from campus. I highly recommend this hotel.

DisappointedPosted May 19, 2015
Pros: It was convenient for graduation some of the staff was very friendly.
Cons: The price was too high for the services you receive. I think a continental breakfast should have been included.
The fridge was dirty, the pillows were too big, the shower had no pressure, the entrance was dirty and the landscaping was broke up and dirty, a guy was sleeping by the front door with his zipper down.

We found the internet horrible, sign behind front desk missing letters, carpets worn and stained, very overpriced rooms, front of building had rusty columns, elevators undersized for the amount of rooms. We will not stay here again. The water park was ok

Great waterpark hotel!Posted Apr 10, 2015
Pros: Comfy beds and pillows. But most of all the waterpark as part of the hotel.
Cons: Check in took a long time and they could not accommodate us with 3 rooms close together by check in time. Would have had to wait longer.
Location: Great restaurants and shopping.
Fun waterpark at this hotel for the grandkids ages 2, 3, 4 and 6. They loved the slides, the bubbling fountains, the tubes floating down the man made river! Great bonding times!
