Nice hotel. Has a huge and great waterparkPosted Jul 6, 2014
Cons: Free breakfast should be included in the room rates
Good place to stay. The kids enjoyed our stay especially the waterpark. It's nice if though if breakfast is included with the room.

Met my expectations, clean & comfortable.Posted Jul 1, 2014
We had a nice stay, nice room with very comfortable beds, the mini fridge and microwave are great for leftovers. Tavern United, Altos and Garbonzos pizza offer choices for everyone if you don't want to drive to go eat or have drinks. My sons loved Splashers water slides and lazy river, I do have a negative feeling with being charged $20 for the two of them to use it though. Common CanadInns, stop charging extra for kids having fun, pool is free but you have to pay to go down a slide??....lame.

Needs UpgradingPosted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: The waterpark.
Cons: With all the new hotels they need to bring themselves up to those standards. New bedding, change mattresses on the pullouts, dvd players, new tvs etc.
I haven't stayed here for a few years now as there are so many new hotels in Grand Forks. The rooms need some upgrading...kids hotel yet there is no DVD player in the room. Beds are so so...pillows are horrible and the pull out is terrible. Amenities in the room are the bare necessities. Just doesn't compare to all the other hotels now. It used to be the top one but not any more. The breakfast at Altos was disgusting and it cost 42.00 for two people!!! Breakfast included is a standard thing at hotels now a days.

Great StayPosted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: Water park was best part, 3/4 of our time was spent in the water haha.
Cons: darker rooms in evening not so much light coming through.
Location: very close to all shopping and restaurants, was a perfect location at a great price.
Had a great 2 day stay, the water park for the kids was amazing and the restaurants for us adults was a nice peaceful change, only issue was spot light between the water park and hotel was so bright in our room was like daytime haha. Otherwise great stay and will definately be back soon :)

Slept well but....Posted May 27, 2014
Our room (1010) had paint peeling in the shower above the shower head from water leaking/spraying. Obviously something that hasn't been looked at for a while. In fact, while I was washing my hair I had paint falling on me. Comfortable beds, in room microwave and fridge were handy. If you like to order half and half pizzas be careful, they charge you for extra toppings, which makes no real sense (thought that was weird as we've ever paid for that before anywhere.) We would go back with kids in the future but will check our room over before we settle in. Decent value during the week for what you pay for. Not sure on pricing over a weekend.

Comfy beds, fun water park for kidsPosted May 19, 2014
Comfy beds, clean rooms, great place to stay for kids bc of water slides and there really isn't anything else to do in grand forks. Only down side is no continental breakfast. Would have been perfect if they offered a free breakfast especially considering this should be a family friendly hotel given the water park. Also as a guest at the hotel you still have to pay to use water slides (but free to use hot tubs and pool).

Nice hotel & facilitiesPosted May 13, 2014
Pros: Nice rooms, nice splash park and 2 restaurants without having to leave the building complex.
Cons: Parking was almost non-existent when we arrived due to an event at the Alerus Centre. Admission to Splashers should be included with the room rental.
Location: Location wasn't the greatest if you wanted to shop or go out to other restaurants, but not bad if you have a car.
Hotel was very nice, food was good and the kids had a great time at Splashers and the Arcade. The unfortunate part was the room not totally cleaned, found a coffee cup with cold coffee on the counter and the ice bucket was half full of water. Then at 6:30 the following morning the Alarm blared on and woke up everyone for the day.
