I was very impressed with this hotel. it was clean, great breakfast, and quite. The one thing i was unhappy with is the floor in the pool area. It is a very slippery tile and gets even worse when wet and the air movement in the pool area was nonexistent so thw floor wouldnt dry at all. There was still standing water in areas on the floor this morning where there was puddles last night when they shut it down for the night.

I’d say I’ve seen better breakfast options at this type of hotel. One hot tub is out of commission as of April 2024

W really like the large pool and hot tub. The pool water was a nice temperature and not as cold as when we had stayed here in 2019.

The complementary breakfast needs much improvement. On our 1st morning, there was a lack of food, coffee ran out, apple juice was like water, people had to ask for more bread, yogurt. On our 2nd morning, we arrived later to the breakfast, and there was no yogurt, few bread items. There was no fresh fruit on both mornings. If they don’t want to put out food, then they shouldn’t offer a complementary breakfast. Cleaning staff didn’t offer to provide clean towels or take our garbage after the 1st night stay. We had to ask. We had to ask for pool towels in the pool area. On both days, there wasn’t a supply of towels in the pool area. One hot tub wasn’t working. The pool area needs an upgrade.

We always stay at the Country Inn. The beds are comfortable and the pool area is great. We love that there are 2 hot tubs. We weren't quite as happy with the breakfast as we have been in the past but it was still decent.

I had a room that was still a little noisy. I asked for one that was quiet. It would be nice to have 2 bars of soap in the room for people who are staying more than one day.

On the Expedia site when i booked the room, ut said pet friendly. We arrived late in the evening to find out they do not allow pets. We had to get a second hotel room become we were not able to cancel this one..also both of the hot tubs were out of order. The rooms were dirty and in rough shape, not sure why oets couldn't be allowed.

This property was convenient for our purposes. Regrettably, we experienced noise (talking and tv) from an adjacent room which went on throughout the night. That kept us awake for a good portion of the night. The breakfast area was very clean and sufficient.

Room was comfortable, spacious and clean! Pool and gym room were perfect for us. My only complaint was checking in and the unnecessary long wait. Even if the staff would have said I apologize for the wait it would’ve made a difference.

Very nice hotel. Our coffee pot was broken and they replaced it and also made sure everything was good. The phone was broken but we didn’t care.

Property used to be our go to place and now the pool is work down with paint peeling and hot tubs not working. The drain didn’t work to give the kids a bath and the bathroom was dirty.

Unique was the pool for small children and hot tub. But upon check-in was informed pool not available. No call telling us although manager said they called. We had two small children and everthing was booked so had no choice to stay. I had to take grandchildren to Canad Inns to swim. It cost extra money for wrist bands to swim at their facility and i had to drive back to your hotel with childrens hair wet and cold. Too say i was not happy is an understatement. The hotel was full of young hockey boys running up and down the halls, no supervision at continental breakfast, food everywhere and non appetizing. There was no maintenence on pool all weekend and I cant help but feel it was closed be ause of the hockey groups and unsupervised teenage boys swimming...liability issue. Not to mention when I first went in to book the room showed a $150 rate and within two hours it had jumped to $300. Again because i believe the hockey tournaments raised the prices. I love coming to Grand Forks from Canada for a weekend of rest and a treat for my Grandchildren...but in the end I was exhausted from having to haul them to another location to swim. Not to mention not being able to use the hot tub for my sore back.

I apologize you did not enjoy your stay with us. Unfortunately, we did have heating issues with our pool. We had ordered the part needed to fix the problem, however, there were shipping issues out of our control. The hotel manager and myself did call the arrivals to make them aware of the issues. In your reservation, the number on file was not operational. Again we do apologize you had a hard time with your stay. Please consider staying with us again to make things right.

The room was fantastic. The staff were very friendly. There were some maintenance issues - pool was out of commission, waffles and other items were unavailable for breakfast because of a power issue, ice maker on our floor was out of order.
