Nice hotel stay, but overpriced for what you get.

Pros: THe staff was friendly. Willing to work with us on weird check in/out schedules.
Cons: Responsiveness to problems with pool area. Price point.
Location: We didn't find much to do, we went to a movie.
We stayed here for business. The hotel check in process was great. Very swift and friendly, and they accomodated us early. The room was smallish for being $150+ and generally average for a hotel room of this type. Ordinary amenities were clean and neat. The adjustable bed was comfortable. We intended to spend a great deal of the evening in the hot tub in the pool area, but the jets were not working, and even after notifying management, they still would not work. The hot tub appeared dirty and was not much fun without jets, so we quit trying to enjoy this after a while. There was a hockey tournament in town and the hallway noise was very loud at late hours and early in the morning. Overall, it was lackluster for the price. Would have been appropriate for $100/night

アメリカのホテルのアメニティでは普通はコーヒーしかありませんが、紅茶も置いてあるのが嬉しかったですね。あと朝食がついていれば、最高点をあげたいです。

Good Location. So-so room. Bad bed.

The Hilton Garden Inn is in a good location for a visit to the University of North Dakota, with a skyway connecting it to the campus. Overall, the hotel was OK - nothing special. The room itself was OK, except that they used bluish color compact florecent blubs in the lamps which gave the room an industrial ambiance. But the big issue for us was the bed, in our case a king. The mattress sagged in the middle on both halfs of the bed, and had no spring or softness. In hind sight we should have complained immediately, but we didn't. In the morning, after a bad night's sleep, we began to wonder if the bed was a "sleep number" type bed. There was nothing in the room that would indicate that it was anything other than a normal bed - no obvious controls or instructions. But after we pulled up the fitted sheet we found the controls attached to the mattress - under the fitted sheets. We turned the controls up and waited to see what would happen - nothing happened. We waited 30 minutes - nothing. We looked for power cords that weren't plugged in - found nothing. So basically we slept on a deflatted "sleep number" type mattress, which is not the best recipe for a good night sleep. At check-in we weren't told about the type of bed in our room, and when we complained at check-out, we got a polite "sorry". We typically visit Grand Forks twice a year. This is the first time that we stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn, and after this experience it will be the last.

Nice hotel, spacious rooms, with amenities.

Posted Feb 4, 2015
Pros: Soundproof hotel, modern, clean overall, all the amenities.
Cons: A little more attention to the small details. The door to our room had something dripped down it as well as the bathroom door.Shampoos weren't restocke
Location: Attached to the university via skywalk. Central to 32nd for shopping and downtown.
We stayed here to attend a hockey tournament in Crookston. The rooms were spacious enough to bring the hockey bag in and still have space. Comfy beds, fridge, microwave, coffee maker all in room. Very comfortable. Our room was right across from the pool and it was very soundproof!
