“A Pleasant Stay”

Second time staying at this motel..It is very clean and nice. The staff was easy to work with and helpful with all local questions.

My family and I had a great experience at the Road King. We will surely be staying there again. The only complaint we had was that the pool was on the cold side. But other than that it was a very pleasant experience. We had a 2nd floor poolside room with a little balcony. It was so perfect for our little son. He loved to go out on the balcony and watch the pool, and we didn't need to worry about safety!!

My wife and I have stayed there several times while visiting our son who is a student at UND. The service has always prompt and courteous and our rooms have been spotless. It is very nice for a mid-priced family hotel. Yes, I would recommend it to others.

The rooms were very clean, the staff was great. Was within walking distance to the mall. Was very pleasedith our stay.

Hotel staff was very helpful. They had maps to give when asked for directions. There was a noisy group and they took care of it.

The hotel was perfect for our needs. We were just in town from Canada and needed a place for the night. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

“Not Impressed”

We have stayed in Grand Forks MANY times. First time at this hotel. Would not stay there again. Bathroom was dirty, dirty. Did not look like it was cleaned at all before we got in the room. Noisy hallways. Not enough parking for the weekend. Staff was friendly. The price was too much for what we got. Have had less expensive stays in other hotels that were a lot better. Cleanliness was probably the biggest factor.

“It's okay!”

When booking, description of room stated "jetted tub" - don't think so! It also stated "breakfast buffet" - it was just the ordinary "continental breakfast". Hallways are very noisy, you can hear everything...... hot tubs were ok but not great! If you are planning a long stay, would not recommend.

“Nightmare at roadking !”

I booked a balcony room and went to check in early, I had even called two weeks Prior because I didn't want any stress, the asst Manager guaranteed me the right room and When u got there the attendant said the hotel Was booked and that unfortunately I cld not Have a balcony room...I was upset and she Got upset at me and verbally told me she Did not have to put up with me and threatened To not even give me a room. I was running in The Fargo marathon and rooms were hard to Find do I stayed but they did nothing to make Me as their customer happy...and the room had A half of curtain and didn't close and the view was Bad and future missing from the room..I Have stayed in rooms in Asia that were nicer And I was treated so disrespectfully but this young Girl with a bad attitude....I have stayed here before And had no problem but this time the whole Experience was a nughtmare

“Not worth the hassle”

I booked a poolside room 3 months in advance of my stay and did not receive a poolside room. The staff were not all helpful in correcting the problem. They basically told me it was not their mistake and not their problem. The room itself was okay, it seemed cleaned. However while sitting on the bathroom floor giving my kids I bath, I found that the bathroom was not clean at all! I don't know that I would go back to this hotel after the experience I had with the staff and the cleanliness of the room.
