Good value for the money. Restaurant is good, staff helpful.

“Good place to sleep.”

The HoJo was clean enough and the presentation of the staff and rooms were acceptable. The gentleman that checked us in was a little under-motivated and a bit on the pessimistic side. Other than that was a good stay.

“Clean and comfortable but Service needs improvement”

Our room was clean, hallways clean, swimming pool was great. We had to make four trips back and forth to the front desk because no coffee packs left in room, no ashtrays left in room and the laminated room service menus from Garden cafe were not left in room. We tried the hotels direct line to order room service from the cafe. Line wouldn't go thru. Called the cafe using outside line and got thru immediately. Food was fast and good.

“Good Value”

The breakfast was average but it was a good clean hotel. The pool was nice and the evening staff were great.

“bed was comfortable”

Bed was comfortable. surroundings were relatively quite. Identified issues were corrected. Friendly and polite staff. Accommodating.

“Not bad, not great.”

Their service was marginal. We called for extra pillows. They said they didn't have extra pillows. Pretty common request for most hotels. Aging facility, starting to show wear in the bathroom. On the bright side, they did have a nice big swimming pool for the kids. Again, showing alot of age and in need of some repairs.

“Fine for one night”

Our room had windows to the indoor pool only and was at the lower floor. Both my daughter and I reacted to the chlorine in the air during the night and coughed a lot. We also thought the A/C was extremely loud. Otherwise, we were satisfied.

“Clean in Nebraska”

I think the hotel is good and will probably stay there again if I'm in Nebraska. However, I did not appreciate us being placed in the back of the hotel and the Manager placing carpet on the floor in front of our room. We had to keep the door open. Also, the bed was hard.

“Pet Friendly”

This is a pet friendly hotel (dogs only), and that's why we chose it. The rooms are clean and well organized. However, the bathroom amenties could use some work i.e. the toilet is too low to the floor and could pose a problem for seniors. When we stayed in the hotel it was undergoing a major remodel, but there was little noise or dirt and clutter. The dining room is adequate and the breakfast menu has ample choices. There is a 10% discount for guests of the hotel, but you have to ask for it and we were not told on arrival about the discount. Finally, the stairs are steep to the second floor rooms. So, ask for a ground floor room is you have any issues with walking or arthritis pain.
