Clean, updated, and whimsical room. The bed was comfortable. The property is still being improved which is why I only gave that a four. Staff was helpful, courteous, and service oriented I would stay there again.

I was traveling on I 80 with my elderly mother. I looked for hotels in Kearney, and most were over $200 night. I found Dragonfly Inn and Suites for half the price. SO WORTH the 15 minute drive south to this little gem. Recently renovated with so many nice upgrades. Staff was so friendly, beds were extremely comfortable, loved the bright and cheery decor. I will definitely make this a go-to stay when travelling I-80!

After having left a terrible hotel around the corner this place was a breath of fresh air. The room was small, but it was clean and comfortable. It was cozy and the bed was very comfy.

This motel has recently been renovated. It’s quaint and decorated very cute. It’s different and unique. Nice to stay in a place that’s not like every other motel/hotel.

Great Place
Our group was in town for an event at Hastings College. The hotel was clean, bright, and fun. The staff was very nice. This will now be our go-to place in Hastings!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I asked about restaurant options and was told about two restaurants which I visited and enjoyed. The room was clean and comfortable, especially the bathroom and shower, which looked newly remodeled and was beautiful. I had to request to have the nozzles on the hand soap dispensers changed. They looked like they had rust on them. Also, there were a lot of scuff marks and chips in the wood. They were unsightly, but not dirty.

Love this place!
Amazing hotel, more like a B&B with all the unique furnishings and special, thoughtful touches everywhere. Extremely clean, comfortable and convenient. Lovely breakfast! The pride the owners take in this property is very apparent...must be a labor of love for them.

We did not end up staying at this property. When we pulled into the parking look the place looked nothing like what had been pictured nor did it deserve the 8.2 rating. We felt it was very sketchy, it was dingy, there were a number of people loitering in the parking lot, our room was in the far corner of the building in a very dark corner, there was no place for us to park anywhere near the room. The only bright spot was the hotel clerk who totally understood why we would not be staying and told us that we would not be charged. I was very disappointed with Expedia as I feel they did not do there do diligence in their recommendation of this property.

We are so sorry you felt the way you stated. Our property is very well lit up we have lights and more lights everywhere. Your reservation came in with the last room we had during Husker Harvest Days and the room we had available was on the first floor of the property. ALL the people you saw outside and the parking lot being full was not people loitering it was guest coming in from being at an event all day. We have a state of the art security system outside and have 32 + cameras all over the property without any theft EVER at our property. Does the property look a bit in shambles on the outside YES as we are still renovating the outside landscaping and installing a water fountain in the front area of the property. We truly are sorry that you felt the way you did as our front desk staff of course knows giving beyond the best customer service to guest. As soon as you arrived you came into the lobby from the north side of the building where we have truck parking and told the front desk staff you would not be staying at the property as you did not feel that your property would be safe. She stated to you that we have a full hotel and cameras everywhere and that where you were parked would be the side your room would be on so you could see your property from the room and if you chose not to stay you would need to call expedia and cancel the reservation and we never checked you in. Maybe when you are in town again and pass by you will see the renovations are complete and why the landscaping looked the way it did. Thank you

Very comfortable beds after a long day
Everything was great! We came in late from the fair. We were exhausted, so it was very nice to come to a hotel that was clean and had comfortable beds. The rooms decor is super cute and the vanity mirror loved it. Water pressure in the shower was great. The next day we came down for breakfast and had some good conversation before we left. If were ever out this way anytime we will definitely be re-booking . And also a mention for not hiking the the prices ridiculously high due to all the events going on when they definitely coould have.just all around amazing customer service

I stayed in a beautiful king size room. I loved the way it was decorated and the cleanliness of it. There was a small breakfast available, but it was good for me who was there for business purposes. They have a washer/dryer that you can add some coins and do your laundry. The staff was very friendly. I would stay again definitely.

This property is marketed as 24/7 front desk. Accordingly, I booked a stay, knowing I'll be coming late. I came at 1:30 a.m. It took roughly 15 calls and 40 minutes to get somebody to show up. When a person did show up, she was visibly unhappy to be bothered. Any event, not a pleasant experience. Otherwise hotel is just okay - not great not bad just okay.

I apologies that you felt the way you did and that you had to wait. Yes, we have 24/7 Front Desk. However, we do not stay at the desk 24/7. We normally try to rest around 12a till 4a. We do have the note on the desk to call for assistance. I was not bothered when I came out of the Office/Apartment area. Yes, I was waking up from the call and I am so sorry it took 5 calls to wake me up. I did have that face when you are first woken up and rushing. But, was trying to be friendly with you and as you were clearly irritated for waiting 30 mins and calling 5 times per our phone records. Anyone would be. Once again, I apologize that I was asleep and did not here the phone. At this time we are having a staffing issue and I am on call working 24/7. I am sorry u felt I was bothered I was not I was waking up, so sorry this is a rare occasion that I am not at the desk promptly when guest arrive. I hope you come stay with us again and allow us to show you that we truly do strive to be the friendliest and make sure guest have a wonderful experience.

Much better than the hotel it replaced. Customer service was great. Rooms have been upgraded significantly and they incorporated technology which is a nice touch not used enough at many hotels

Other than the hallways (due to renovations still being done), everything else was really good. The room smelt a little funny whenever you walked in (may have been due to renovations), but it wasn't bad. The rooms and lobby were gorgeous and the breakfast in the morning was awesome!

A True Gem
A true gem in the middle of Hastings, Nebraska! Colorful, clean, unique...definitely NOT the run of the mill roadside motel, and CERTAINLY not a big-name chain. This wonderful place is a welcome addition to the growing list of independent, rehabbed motels, keeping the spirit of FUN, inexpensive travel across the US ALIVE! We will go out of our way to stay here again. Can't wait for that completed outdoor space!

Highly recommended! A boutique motel experience at a bargain price! Wow, if i could give this 11 stars out of 10! Such a beautifully, artistically decorated room with attention to small details and extra comforts! Dragonfly shaped towel & batique throw on bed, dragonfly glycerin soap! Super soft bathrobes! Very comfortable bed & linens, bright red microwave, mini fridge ( old school design!), bright red super cool sitting chairs, artsy dresser. Eco conscious too! Body waah, shampoo & conditioner in pump containers: excellent! Jennifer, the proprietor, so friendly & helpful! Every room is different! Im so glad i happened upon this gem!

Great Place
Hard Rock Hotel vibe, eclectic decor, great amenities and pet friendly, but the bed height can be challenging to manage for short adults and especially for small fur babies that sleep in the bed too; and we brought the stairs. Other than that go the extra miles, pass up the hotels chains near the highway definitely worth it, grab a Freddy Steakburger on the way!!!! Thanks for the hospitality.

A unique motel with very nice comfortable rooms . They are in process of renovating and upgrading, but don’t let that scare you off . The room was exceptional. ! Clean , comfortable , inviting, well lit , the bed was a dream! A must stop!
