Not the best, Not the worst. Good beds, Nice decor

Pros: The beds were good. The decor was cozy.
Cons: The hotel staff and the bath fixtures.
Location: Good location. Dennys was right across the street.
I wanted a Non smoking room and ended up with a smoking room which was awful. I was able to switch to a room with 2 queens that was really nice. The shower fixtures weren't in good shape. The air conditioning needed help. It was old and worn out. It did work though. The staff was terrible. The woman was never in the office. If you needed something you had to go find her. It was ok for the price. I couldn't get the hotel I wanted because everything was sold out due to a concert that weekend.

Worst motel on Horizon Drive!

Pros: Price only.
Cons: Air conditioning never shut off and beds were grim!
Location: Good location and walking distance to Applebee's restaurant.
Motel room rate was "get what you pay for" I guess - have stayed at 4 or 5 motels within 2 blocks of this one over the years and it is the only true "bad one". The other motels were about $15 per night more then they usually charge and had no rooms with 2 queens.

Very poor room

Bathroom was dirty. Mold around the shower knobs. Very poor upkeep. Air conditioner was extremely noisy and didn't work very well. Refrigerator had a horrible smell inside.

I told Expedia we must have ground floor or elevator. Then called motel to confirm this. They tried to give us second floor but gave us ground when we insisted. Our time was short and this would have been a disaster if they hadn't had a ground floor room. Room became cold at night and no apparent heat controls available. Bottom sheets on bed did not tuck in.

Never Again

While the hotel personnel were very helpful and professional; the overall experience was terrible. The room I was given was not what I booked, there were NO locks on the door, no closet to hang my clothes, the bathroom was so small I could barely fit into it, and the room smelled so badly of urine. The pictures on the site were NOT accurate of what I walked into.

I liked that they had a microwave and fridge as well as a nice-sized table and 4 chairs to sit at. Would have appreciated cleaner carpets. The noise next door and especially above was very noticeable.

Kind of an older motel, a little seedy, but the staff was friendly and professional and the room was as clean and nice as we could expect for sixty bucks. We were just sleeping for a few hours on our way down to Lake Powell...
