OK hotel with pleasant staff.

Posted Jul 18, 2015
Pros: Easy access, reasonable rates.
Cons: Air conditioning.
Location: Colorado National Monument, Grand Mesa, fruit orchards, scenic drives.
Air conditioning alternated between very warm with hot air coming out of vent and air that was too cold for comfort even though the thermostat remained at the same temperature.

I want to apologize that we did not meet your expectations. A hotel is defined by the quality of the service it provides to its guests. Consequently, it’s disappointing to learn that you were unhappy. Please accept my sincere apology. I hope that you will give us another opportunity in the future to right the wrongs you experienced. Thank you for the feedback. Darshann General Manager

Pros: I liked that for the 2 story building it had no elevator.. it's much quicker. Breakfast had great choices. Front desk Staff was nice.
Cons: Didn't care for the noise that comes with an indoor pool being in atrium dining area when eating.
Location: walking distance to fast food and OK restaurants
I wanted a King room with microwave and refrig. and they accommodated this nicely with just a phone call.. The rooms around the dining/ and indoor pool area may not have been very quiet. Mine was in the interior and was quiet - clean as well. Outdoor pool is nice - not sure why the outdoor hot tub is permanently covered ?? I would stay there again -

Thank you for your feedback. Our outdoor hot tub is out of order until the end of the season. It will require some major repair work and we did not want to close the outdoor pool location. We will be repairing it the end of the summer. We always have the indoor pool open and the indoor spa. We look forward to seeing you again. Darshann General Manager

Carpet in room was terribly stained and our room.

Posted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: The personnel were very pleasant, and the indoor pool and breakfast area were very nice. The lobby was also attractive.
Cons: The rooms needed updating and stained carpeting needed to be replaced.
Location: I-70 was nearby and a gas station was next door. It wasn't far to drive to downtown Grand Junction.
The lobby and facilities in the hotel were very nice, but our room was very disappointing. The carpet was terribly stained, and the walls had dirty smudges on them. The room was overdue for renovations. The vanity and sink outside the bathroom was quite low - good for children, but not great for seniors. And, there was a hanging rack for clothes instead of a closet, and under the rack was a padded, upholstered bench which also had large stains on it.

Close to the University

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Close to the University and airport
Cons: The outdoor pool
Location: If you like dirt biking, 4x4 off road adventures there is plenty of trails for you. The university is about ten minutes away.
If you’re not going to spend much time in your room this is the hotel for you no refrigerator or microwave just a place to sleep and shower. The pool could use some maintenance but there is a very nice Italian restaurant at the hotel.

Excellent choice for Amtrak travelers!

Posted Jun 26, 2015
Pros: Location is excellent
Cons: Noisy air conditioners
Location: Walking up Main Street, Grand, and thereabouts you are amazed at all the beautiful sculpture and cool shops, great eats!
Very conveniently located, and the town itself is like walking through an art gallery. Such a pleasant surprise. The staff couldn't do enough to ensure we were comfortable, keep up the good work!

Grand Junction is known for their Art on the Corner downtown. Each year they bring in new sculptures so there is always something new to see. We are working on the same concept in the future on Horizon Drive. So keep us in mind in the future. Thank you, Darshann General Manager

Very Pet Friendly

Posted Jun 20, 2015
Pros: Very very pet friendly and the staff
Cons: Wood floors would be great but that is about all I would change.
I'm on a 6 week road trip. I have found many hotels that claim to be pet friendly they only mean dogs all other pets are not allowed. Clarion is very pet friendly they will allow dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, even lion cubs. The room was clean and comfortable but the beds were a bit hard for my liking. The staff was super friendly especially Barbara. If you are passing through and a 3 star hotel is what you are looking for this is the one
