Painting surprise.

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: Staff was friendly and tried to be helpful.
Cons: Finish rennovation and improve the breakfast.
Location: Colorado National Monument is fantastic. We will return to the area but stay at a different hotel.
This hotel may be very nice when improvements are completed. The painting crew was pleasant but we did not expect to arrive to spray painting near our room and where we would ordinarily have parked our car. The maintenance man, Shawn, saved our stay by taking care of us when we returned for our second night to discover that our room had not been cleaned. The "breakfast" was the least satisifying of any on our 10 day trip. We had stayed in a mystery hotel last year that was excellent. This one was very reasonable price wise but we will be hesitant to book another mystery hotel.

Nice place to stop for distant travel

Posted Aug 27, 2014
We had been on the road for a couple of days and needed a place to rest for the evening. The room was clean, comfortable, close to eateries and the beds were comfortable. We even had a minute or two to splash around in their pool. The only issue that some folks might have is that the air conditioning was not that cold but it kept the room comfortable along with a ceiling fan. I thought it was good for the price.

Basic and convenient

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Price and location.
Cons: VERY old as far as decor, paint, furniture and fixtures. Really needs a remodel!
Location: Grand Junction is a great place to visit for Wine Tasting, visiting the Mesa and of course eating peaches!
First time choosing this hotel for our stay in Grand Junction, chose it due to great deal for 2 nights. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dealt with a concern we communicated professionally and efficiently. If you are looking for frills and fancy, this is not the place for you. If you simply need a clean, quiet affordable place to stay during your visit, this is perfect.

Unfortunately my stay at Country Inns of America, Grand Junction, Colorado was very disappointing. This hotel in its day was probably a beautiful place to stay, but now the place needs some TLC. The air conditioning unit in the room was noisy and did not function well. The room was very uncomfortable with the unit running on high. The shower was clean, but the toilet was not. The hot water knob in the shower leaked.

Pros: It included a coffee maker, fridge, microwave, iron, blow dryer and all the basics. The extras were nice. They had a pool and courtyard was inviting
Cons: The water fluctated while showering. Also, the continental breakfast could have a better selection to choose from.
Location: The location was good. Many things to do.
It was good, except for the shower and the breakfast.

Old motel little cooling

Posted Jul 28, 2014
The hotel needs to be updated (blue bath fixtures). The front door in our room was cracked (you could see daylight). We weren't able to lock the upper deadbolt. Hot in the room air was not working property. Checked the fridge and food was left in it. If we were't tired from our trip we would found some other hotel to stay in.
