“Don't Stay on the Highway Side”
Very nice, very clean, helpful staff, decent breakfast, nicely redecorated. Just don't stay on the side by the highway, the sound is terrible. It feels like you're trying to sleep on road.

Good location, good breakfast. Efficient staff. They did have an issue with the elevator light and the hot tub jets, but overall very affordable and clean, which is something you can count on at La Quinta
“Conveniently Close to Airport”
We were a little put off at first when we called for the motel shuttle and were told that they had no shuttle driver that evening. But we took a $5 cab ride and it turned out to be very close and convenient. We met friends who had driven in from the midwest and they were very happy to see that there was a laundry room where they could do their two weeks worth of clothes. The free breakfast was very adequate and the help was friendly. The room was clean and well laid out. We would stay there again.
“La Quinta is showing it's age”
La Quinta in Grand Junction is located near the airport and a good location for travel about town. I found several things lacking though during my stay. The Lodge Net did not work for 1 and 1/2 days (this was reported and fixed eventually). I found the rooms to have paperthin walls and could hear the conversations of the loud people next to me. I stayed there for 5 days so this got old after day 1. Most disappointing though is always the breakfast. The lack of fresh fruit is always a disappointment to those of us who travel frequently. The first and fourth day there was no yogurt, hardboiled eggsand coffee (first day only) This left cold cereal with 2 % milk if you were trying to eat healthy. I will probably look for a different hotel for next visit.

This is a nice hotel~ I would recommend it to travelers it's clean, close to the airport and downtown. Their service was excellent.
