“Good Enough..”

The decor was a bit out dated but the service was good, the linens were clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. I would definately stay again. No real complaints...

“Good hotel but a little pricey”

Everything was good, but the rate was a little on the high side.

“Thin Walls - not for those who crave quiet and privacy”

Stayed here just for one night to check it out. Property is reasonably presented. Good-sized room, clean and very spacious. Room linen need to be replaced as showing signs of wear and tear. Walls are very thin you could hear people's conversations next room and from the corridor; even worse toilet and plumbing noise within earshot - very uncomfortable we thought. Okay to stay here if you just need to put your head down for the night - and get up early the following day and keep going (if you are a tourist). cheers.

“needs renovation”

It could be a nice hotel with pets allowed. Needs nicer front desk people . In need of repair.

“Okay to rest your head”

The hotel is in pretty good condition and the staff were friendly but the beds were horribly uncomfortable. If you can sleep on what feels like a slab of cement than you will enjoy your stay, otherwise I would recommend going somewhere with more comfortable sleeping conditions. Other than the beds, the hotel is a nice place.

“La Quinta is showing it's age”

La Quinta in Grand Junction is located near the airport and a good location for travel about town. I found several things lacking though during my stay. The Lodge Net did not work for 1 and 1/2 days (this was reported and fixed eventually). I found the rooms to have paperthin walls and could hear the conversations of the loud people next to me. I stayed there for 5 days so this got old after day 1. Most disappointing though is always the breakfast. The lack of fresh fruit is always a disappointment to those of us who travel frequently. The first and fourth day there was no yogurt, hardboiled eggsand coffee (first day only) This left cold cereal with 2 % milk if you were trying to eat healthy. I will probably look for a different hotel for next visit.

“Smelled like smoke”

Requested Non-Smoking room. Room 323 had no smoking sign outside the door, ashtrays inside on the table and smelled like smoke.

“Don't Stay on the Highway Side”

Very nice, very clean, helpful staff, decent breakfast, nicely redecorated. Just don't stay on the side by the highway, the sound is terrible. It feels like you're trying to sleep on road.
