Toilet had to be unplugged numerous times in the 2 days we stayed. The shower had very limited temps control. Wasn't very happy.

We stayed here for a hockey tournament. My card was charged for my in law’s room prior to me checking in because the front desk staff didn’t verify first names or card numbers. I was told their charges would be reversed, however they never were. Thankfully it was not just random people with the same last name & I was able to just collect from my in laws. Staff was not very friendly & made it seem like it was our fault. However, my in-laws checked into their room over an hour earlier than I did.

Our go-to when we are in town to visit family or youth hockey tournaments. Very clean, great staff and the breakfasts are AMAZING--who doesn't love to make their own waffles!!?!

Excellent location, friendly desk staff, very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was great although the coffee could have been better as the cups were small and creamer selections were lacking- but the breakfast burritos were great and loved the yogurt and fresh blueberries.

Expedia advertised that this room slept five. When we arrived there were two Queen beds. Staff gave us a rollaway at no charge. The breakfast was very nice as well as the pool. Room was comfortable but had a moldy smell. Staff on evening shift was unfriendly. Seems she was more interested in a male friend, as she was distracted.

Great Hotel, Really hard beds
The hotel was fantastic other than the really hard beds. It was clean and had a great breakfast with lots of things I haven’t seen at other hotels. If it wasn’t for the hard beds I would stay again.

Good Afternoon, i am sorry to hear that things did not go as planned for you. I did have a reservation for you for last night 9/10/23 at Americinn in grand rapids here. however no one showed for the reservation. I am unsure as to why we were given such a low rating since no one stayed. if you would like to discuss this further please let me know

More like a 7 on the rating scale
Both the sink and tub were slow to drain. There was no fan in the bath so the steam had nowhere to go. This made the room really humid. The service room door was open for those on the 1st floor to see. Its a working room and necessarily messy so it would be best to keep this door closed from guest view. Its these little things that drop a hotel from an 8 to a 7.
