Very nice rooms and staff

Posted Apr 11, 2015
Almost had a little trouble getting our dog into the hotel due to her size 30lbs with only particular rooms available for pets. With a pet fee of $15 the staff made an exception which was very much appreciated.

Over night after concert.

Posted Apr 1, 2015
Quiet, safe, comfortable, at reasonable price. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was spacious. Could use more parking, and DVD player was broken. Not any reasons I wouldn't stay there again.

Not what I was expecting at all.

Posted Mar 31, 2015
Pros: Very clean and a great location.
Cons: Looks like they'd recently made some changes in the bathroom and the work done was very sloppy. Also update the photos to reflect how the rooms look.
Location: Right off the highway but not so close as to hear the noise. Several resaurants close by as well as shopping.
This is one of those times when I didn't get what I was expecting but found it to be a reasonable alternative. The photos of the rooms on their site show a much more modern decor than what is actually in the rooms. I saw the interiors of 3 so I know it wasnt just mine. That being said the room was much larger than advertised as well. I'm not sure if I got a free or accidental upgrade but I'm not about to complain about either. It was very nice to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room and having a seperate sitting area made me feel much more at home than a traditional motel room layout.

One night stay

Posted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: Price, cleanliness, comfortable bed.
Location: Founders Brewery. Highly recommend. There's also a good burger place called Bagger Dave's about a 5 minute walk away.
We went for a day trip to visit the local brewery in Grand Rapids. We are used to 3 star hotels but wanted to save some money. For the price this room was perfect. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It is an older hotel but all around a nice place to stay.

Better than I expected

Posted Mar 15, 2015
The staff was good. I had a burned out light bulb, and they brought a new one down to me immediately. The room was more than I expected. Queen bed and TV and enclosed closed in one half. Room divided by bathroom and sink area, with sitting room with a fold out couch, desk, and TV in the other half. Room was clean and neat. Bed was a little too firm, but then it wasn't mine from home.

Close to the Airport. Very friendly staff.

Posted Feb 1, 2015
Pros: Proximity to airport. Cleanliness. Room layout.
Cons: More breakfast options for those of us that do not prefer sweet foods in the morning. Apple juice.
We spent a night here after arriving late from a flight at Grand Rapids International Airport. Our check-in was late, but the staff was very attentive. The rooms are night, two "bedrooms" separated by a bathroom, sink and mini-kitchen area. This allowed for privacy and a good night's sleep. The breakfast options were mostly sweet things. I would have appreciated apple juice as well as orange juice.

Just the two of us

Posted Jan 29, 2015
Pros: It was near where we had to go. The staff was great.
There were two separate areas in our room separated by the bathroom. My husband was able to watch TV in the sitting area and I was able to sleep in with out the TV bothering me. Great breakfast also
