“Pleasantly surprised!”
I recommend this hotel. Quiet but yet within 1 bk of the busiest street in Grand Rapids (28th St). Nice to have a kitchenette (full-size fridge!)because it does save you money. Pleasant neighborhood, not a lot of traffic. Well groomed landscape. Hotel staff very professional and courteous. Bed was soooo comfy. Soft pillows and thick towels. I was really pleasantly surprised. I had a handicapped-type room. Lots of room for the wheelchair. All facilities clean and lots of lights. Toaster, coffee maker, microwave, dishes and towels and lots of cupboard space. General storage was very good overall. I will be back!

My first experience with ESA in Los Angeles was beyond terrible. This time I was extremely satisfied and would stay there, again if I ever return to Grand Rapids.

Hotel Rooms were clean. Only Problem I had was that there were no ice machine, but there were ice trays to make ice in each room in the freezer.

This hotel stay was not remarkable. The service was fine at check in. The hotel was clean, and well kept. We enjoyed the stay, felt safe and secure, and went about our business.

This hotel accomodated our needs. It was simple, clean and provided our family what we needed. Lavish it is not, but basic and clean it is!

I would put a full sized coffee maker in the room.
“Wonderful to Cook Yourself!”
Typical of areas where newer hotels are and the older ones become a bit in the not-so-clean area. Since you are responsible for emptying trash, making own bed, changing towels and washing the supplied dishes/cooking items, the rooms are not kept as clean as daily room service. The full size refrigerator was a very big plus.

Our 2-night stay here was fine. The desk clerk was very helpful, and the room seemed clean. In hindsight I would have brought a cooler of food for the weekend because the room had a full-size fridge and a small kitchenette.
