“Great Stay”

We only had 2 nights booked and wish we had more. The front desk staff and the cleaning staff were very friendly. The room/suite was so much more than we expected. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. The only negative is that the bed was too soft, but that is a personal preference. We will definitely go back and would recommend this hotel to others.

“Great Family Hotel”

We had an extended family getaway here. With 14 of us, the hotel was accomodating in putting our rooms together, our suites worked out great for all of the family members, and the facilities were used by all.

“Would stay again!”

The room was nicely furnished and very clean, though the bed was very soft. The breakfast buffet was delicious and provided a wide variety of options. The pool and exercise room were well maintained and enjoyable to use.

“If we have to stay in Grand Rapids we'll be back.”

Very nice place to stay but a little hard to find at first. There is an Olive Garden right next day and several places down the street to eat. The breakfast left lot's to be disired. I'm sure that the next days would have been better. Very clean and quite place to stay.

“Grand Rapids Homewood”

Nice hotel in the middle of shopping and restraunts. Friendly staff. Would like to have a more comfortable couch in the room and a bigger TV, but over-all a nice hotel to stay at.

“Not your typical Homewood Suites”

I have stayed at Homewood Suites before but this specific property was not as good as the others. The room was clean, but the bathroom tub, floor and walls looked old and not very clean. The toilet was running all the time becaause the flapper would not close all the way. The tub looked old and the caulking around it was cracked and coming off. The coffee machine in the room was the tiny, standard hotel coffee machine, but the one in my room was dirty inside and out. I don't mean it hasn't been washed, it looked like the stains on the glass decanter, heating plate, and the outside of the machine was baked on. I guess the age of the property makes a big difference in the look and feel of the hotel. The hotel had free Wifi, an excercise room with two pieces of equipment, and an indoor swimming pool.

the room reeked of cigarette smell, the bedspread/comforter was stained in many places, the sheets did not fit properly on the bed, THE HOTEL LOOKED DINGY AND UNKEPT
