“Good place to stay south of Grand Rapids”

New -- very nice facility, clean, well run, fairly convenient, staff was very friendly and helpful, nice workout are and pool -- a bit far out from downtown but we knew that. Would definitely go there again.

“Wonderful place to stay”

I was quite impressed with the Hyatt. The room was new, super clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were great and responsive. The breakfast was nice as well. The location was right off the highway, which was perfect for our purposes. However, the location might be offputting to someone looking for a hotel in the middle of things. Quite impressed with the Hyatt Place and would stay, happily, at this hotel again.

“"when in the Grand Rapids area, we'll be back at Hyatt Place-G.R. South"”

Hotel is somewhat isolated. Needs some landscaping. Otherwise, it exceeded our expectations. Enjoyed the stay. Nice rooms.

“It looks and feels like a little resort. The staff made me feel welcome.”

From the Highway it looks like a High Dollar Resort. Inside the decor was very modern. Lots of open spaces. Nicely decorated. Very functional. The staff was very nice, they didn't make me feel like I was putting them out, or taking them away from their more PRESSING issues. The room was like a suite, one side had a sectional sofa, desk and chair and a mini-fridge, the other half of the room consisted of two queen beds, the bathroom counter top, mirror, sink and closet. and in the corner of the room near the windows, was the bathroom. Very nice all the way around..

“Exceeded Expectations”

Hyatt Place is a Leeds-certified green hotel, which isn't why I booked there, but I appreciate. The hotel is very new, clean and the room was quite spacious, even with 2 adults and 3 kids! Restaurants nearby, and the location was great for where we were travelling that weekend. Pool was warm, breakfast was nice. Felt like we got a really good deal for the money.

“Hotel Stay”

We were going to America Adventure Park with my daughters Girl Scout Troop in Muskegon. We didn't like the Hotels we saw there so we decided to book with the Hyatt and we drove the hour it took to get to the park. We were very glad that we did. The Hyatt was very well maintained and the staff was very helpful.

“Repeat Stay!”

My family and I enjoyed our last stay so much, we came for another quick stay. The staff is wonderful, very attentive and will do whatever it takes to make your stay enjoyable! My kids love going down for a late nite snack of a variety of appetizers that are cooked to order. I really appreciate that I can get my favorite Starbucks coffee or cocktail whenever necessary. This hotel is a gem. These is a oriental/minimalist theme in the rooms, which we find very relaxing. I will be staying here again and again.

“Booking again today!”

This hotel is fantastic. The beds are great, the pillows are great, and the room was wonderful! Everyone is so friendly and accomodating. There are no microwaves in the room - I would ask them to add that, but other than that, we loved it and are booking another visit there today.

“Thankful for a great Thanksgiving hotel!”

We got there very late in the day. The reservation was prepaid so checkin was a breeze. Had pretty much the pick of the place. Took a top floor room. Used the pool and exercise room, but were very nice & clean...altbough the exercise was a hot commodity on account of the cold weather. Even running outside was pleasant (despite very cold weather). Sidewalks up and down the streets are a good thing. Room service was prompt. Breakfast was good. One thing I didn't like; the coffee at breakfast was HORRIBLE. The "homebrew" coffee in the room was tolerable. Thank goodness there's a Biggby Coffee about a 1/2 mile away! Convenient on/off highway. There's a hospital nearby so you hear the occasional siren but not often or for very long. Hotel staff was all good. The place is pretty close to immaculate....it's new, so what would you expect? Parking is close, too. High marks for this place.
