Location: Convenient to shopping and dining
Checked in for three nights 12-8 through 12-10. Lobby was OK and looked clean. Back out to the car to park and come in for the night. Parking lot was kind of shady, people standing around smoking. There was a weird smell in the elevator, stepping off the elevator on the second floor the smell was stronger. It was a very chlorine like smell. The wallpaper was peeling in several spots. On to the room... 1. Wallpaper peeling from walls in several spots. 2. No refrigerator or microwave 3. Mirrored doors on closet impossible to open without considerable manipulation 4. Paint chipped off painted walls 5. WiFi was in and out 6. TINY Bathroom, Toilet is almost touching the bathtub and no counterspace 7. No ventilation in bathroom. BLACK MOLD in corners of ceiling. 8. Mold in the grout of tiles around bathtub. 9. Noisy old mattresses with springs in your back all night The only upsides are a attached Old Chicago and a close Starbucks. I called downstairs to change my checkout day to a day earlier and was very rudely informed I would have to go through Expedia to do that. Mind you its not that they couldn't do it, it's the attitude and rudeness with which I was treated.

We came for the waterslide, but it was closed.

Pros: Waterslide for grandson
Cons: We could have been told about the slide being closed.
Location: Great location!
Overall, it was very nice. We would have stayed closer to the airport if we had known the slide was closed.

No amenities to speak of. Pool towels small. No complementary breakfast. Bed mattress very uncomfortable

Hallways were very cold. Pool was nice but the life guards were not managing the children well

Close to everything

Staff is extremely professional and nice. Housekeeping staff keeps ro immaculate. Good restuarant attached, and breakfast (for a fee) is filling and convenient.

Needs updating

The kids enjoy the water slide, but for the price, we'd rather stay somewhere with newer updates and free breakfast.

Thank you for your comments and I glad your kids had a good time with the waterslide. But I am also sorry you didn't enjoy the accommodations as we just finished a multi dollar renovation throughout the entire hotel less than a year ago. I do hope that when in the area again you will give us a second look.

Troubled Check In

Cons: Check in process,
Location: Lots of great resturants and stores in area.
Took a long time to find my reservation. Ended up giving us then incorrect room. The door cards didn't work and the maintenance service had to reset the door lock. There were holes in the wall.
