Really enjoyed my stay here. It was clean and convenient. Staff was friendly. Although there was an issue with my room and what floor I was supposed to be on originally the staff accommodated me as best they could to resolve the issue.
Very confident to GVSU. Beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was so-so but on par with most “hot breakfasts” free with stay. Clean rooms, plenty of linens.

Close to the campus which was good. Wasn’t super dirty but our bathroom smelled like an old wet mop. I’ve stayed at worse places so if i had to i would stay again
I’ve stayed at this property several times and have been very impressed every time.

Did not stay at this hotel. They would not refund my money even though I tried to cancel before their 24 hour rule! Lady on the phone was rude.

Thank you for your feedback. On behalf of everyone I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you have had. Unfortunately, the hotel is unable to cancel reservations made through expedia. Expedia has to cancel it and they make the decision for refunding.
The assistant manager and young man at front desk were awesome. The owners daughter who doesn’t even work there is a nightmare who thinks she owns the place. There is black mold in the pool area. The breakfast area is a health code violation.

Andrew,I apologize for the inconvenience during your stay. I am not sure why the plow guy did come right away. When I got in at 6:45am I messaged my boss immediately to let him know. We have stayed here many times while visiting the campus and it’s a nice comfortable quiet and safe hotel. Of course, it’s a little pricey, but it is convenient to GVSU.
Staff was amazing, everyone was very kind. I did find hair in my breakfast, both on an egg and biscuits and gravy. However, aside from that everything was great. Room was clean, staff was nice & was able to swim.

Disappointing
I'm surprised the property has deteriorated this far in 2 years. The workout rm smells musty & machines not in good condition. Breakfast was average at best. Pnut butter n jelly old; breads stale n gravy barely warm. Staff was friendly and check in and out efficient. My rm very noisy; dont know if it was the location or luck of the draw due to snoring, walking around at all hours could be heard and people i. And out of squeaking doors. Location great for my purposes.

Had to change room because of strong musty smell and stained shear curtains. Second room there was no smell but heater made a very loud noisy when it would start up. Had to shut it down to sleep. Stayed in this room for the remainder. Won't stay there again.

This is Customer Service?
Check-in took 20 minutes while we stood there while the attendant kept answering the phone. She said she was instructed to answer phones first before taking care of customers standing in front of her. I think is hugely misguided from delivering any level of customer service.

Room 217. It was like staying in a tin can. You can hear everything going on. The shower in the room above us was so loud and it sounded like there was a Jacuzzi tub as well. The jets were so loud up to 2 am. I would stay again but preview the room they pick first.
