Pros: The swimming pool and staff
Cons: Including a continental breakfast would be beneficial for people that do not have time to eat in the attached restaurant.
Location: The Eastlink Center is 2.6km away which is a great facility. There is also a variety of shopping near by
The rooms are a nice size size and fairly modern. Our room was quite clean, but the bathroom could use some scrubbing in the grout, shower head and silicone seals. It was nice having a pool, hot tub and work out room available. During our stay there was a few hour power outage and the staff was great, remaining friendly, available and helpful with any questions. I found the air conditioning very loud and it was constantly on and off all night which made it hard to stay asleep, but when turning it off the room was far too hot. The hotel does have a restaurant, but the adult breakfast buffet and children's buffet was priced far too high when travelling with a family. For the price of the room, a small continental breakfast would be nice.

Our air conditioning units do shut off when the set temperature is been reached and will start again when temperature goes up. However, the fan alone can be kept on continuously if needed. We apologize if that was an inconvenience to you. We are disappointed that you did not see a value in our breakfast buffet. At $9.99, we offer a large variety of options, and all our meats and eggs are locally outsourced. We also offer an A la Carte menu that offers items from $4. When staying at a Holiday Inn, kids under 12 also eat free from our kids menu. We also offer complimentary grab and go coffee, pastries and fruits in our lobby. Unfortunately, as a Holiday Inn, we cannot offer complimentary continental option, which is what the Holiday Inn Express brand offers. Nice hotel close to Revolution Place.

All in all pretty good. Nice and clean. Hotel staff a little confused by booking on Expedia but accommodating. Will stay there again.

Terrible staff

I had specifically stayed at hotel to provide my daughter with a perfect birthday weekend as she wanted to have nice evening at pool. First night I did not sleep as music from pub next door was very loud. The next day was her birthday and they shut down pool. As it was my daughters only birthday wish I told them I would need to check out and find another place with pool. I asked if they were willing to refund an evening or even partial refund. I was told because I had book through Expedia there was absolutely nothing they could do for me. No apology or nothing. They said they didn't have my credit card which is strange as they took when I checked in. They were rude. Will not stay again and probably will not book through Expedia again.

I will address the noise issue with our neighbor restaurant - although we are not affiliated with them, I will not tolerate any disturbance to our guests. I would like to extend our apologies regarding the pool closure. Unfortunately, this situation was out of our control and was caused by actions from other guests. We sincerely apologies and understand how it negatively affected your stay. This is definitely not a common occurrence. When using a third party to book your hotel rooms (like Expedia), it definitely limits what the hotel can do in these situations. A refund couldn't indeed be done directly from our hotel as Expedia took the original payment. However, this should have been explained better to you and there are other ways for us to help sort out the situation. We will share your feedback with our staff and make the necessary changes. Pros: cleanliness and access to restaurant.
Cons: Front desk for check out needs to have staff available in the morning.
Hotel was good, however I waited over 10 minutes to check out, no clerk was at the desk and there was 2 other poeple waiting. Not acceptable.

Horrible Stay

I had the worst night at this hotel. I stayed in room 222 by the elevator and my room would randomly shake/vibrate throughout the night. I woke up at least 10 times from the noise in the room. Oh yeah, the room cost over $300 for the night. Should have slept in my truck....
