“OK”
If you want to be near Barcelona but visit other places too then this hotel might be a good choice, as it's near a busy railway station from which you can go to Barcelona, Girona, Figueres. (To go NW to Vic etc. then you need the other station in Granollers). Granollers has a nice centre but is otherwise nothing to write home about.
The hotel is OK - it's a pretty standard, clean, medium-sized 4 star, with helpful staff and serving decent food, but it's not special. The surroundings aren't great although, as I went with a family, we appreciated the (municipal) childrens playground outside the main entrance, but it's seen better days.
For the 3 of us we got two single beds which, when pushed together, gave us a large double - but it was made up as two singles. The room had a tiny kitchenette which was very useful, especially as being with a small child it limited the extent to which we wanted to eat in restaurants.
