“Would go back again”

We booked this Hotel after visting Hershey Park, which is only 10 minutes away.We enjoyed the Winner Cicle Saloon,the food was good and not too expensive.

“nice and clean”

A nice hotel that is close to Hershey park. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Kids ate free from children;s menu. Definitely would stay there again

“Stay at Holiday Inn Near Hershey Park”

This Hotel was a good choose for staying over one night and then visiting Hershey Park the next day. They are close enough to be convenient but not too close to have to over pay. There is an indoor and outdoor pool and there are two restaurants right there. We enjoyed our stay and may stay there again in the future.

“Not impressed”

Both pay-per-use computers were out of order. One of the front desk associates was not customer friendly. King bed was extremely hard and difficult to sleep on. Room had odd smell, like musty basement or stale cigarette smoke.

we won't stay there again....kids eat free at 2 restuarants- tables were disgusting we ate there 1st night and not again. First morning , I took shower- up to ankles in brown water....gross- they did move us to another room and there was no brown water..both shower curtains in both rooms have that musty smell- they needed to be replaced.

“POOR SERVICE & DIRTY STAY AWAY!!”

Hotel is dark and dirty once you get away from the front desk. Hotel staff that we came in contact with seemed to hate their jobs or were just in a bad mood. Conversations were short as if we were interupting their day. Name tags were not worn at the front desk, so who knows who the people were we delt with. The front desk at first said that breakfast was not included, then after showing our online booking they said only two of the three people that were staying were entittled to the free breakfast. Really?? We also asked the housekeeper for extra towels as the two ladies wanted to shower after using the pool and were turned down.. Again Really.. I hope the girl understands why we didn't leave a tip!! The overall condition of the hotel is rough, torn carpet, writting on the elevator walls (Rude graffiti) damaged walls. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, it is over priced, has poor service and needs a good cleaning..

“Worst sleep in my life!”

Stayed at the Holiday Inn in Grantville, PA, after not being able to secure a reservation at the Hershey Lodge. Thankfully it was just a quick overnight stay. Arrived with my family of 5 (twin 8-yr old boys and 5-yr old daughter) at around 8:30pm. Seemed rather acceptable for the price but it took forever and 2 calls to the front desk to get extra towels and a rollaway bed. One of the double beds had an indentation in the middle of the mattress that was clearly visible--even with all of the bedding on. Air conditioning only had one setting--it could've been cooler in the room but we had no choice. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was awful--my college cafeteria's food was far better. Scrambled eggs on the buffet were dry and clumpy. Pancakes m husband ordered were the worst he had ever eaten. Overall, a big disappointment. Only good thing was the courtesy of the staff. Everyone was extremely pleasant.

“"Sleepless in Harrisburg"”

We arrived early and we happy to be able to check-in early - nice front desk staff. The hotel is an older one - everything was fine until we got to our room. The smell was the first thing we noticed, then the mold on the bathroom walls and tub along with dirty bathtub walls, large hole in the bathroom door, the dirty mirrors, cigarette burns in toilet seat (this was a non-smoking room) and last the worse thing yet - the lumpy beds - no sleep for us! In the morning when we checked out we had to wait for a person to man the desk then had issues with the receipt. The hotel had a great location for our purpose but location is not everything. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

“Expected a lot more.....very dissapointed.”

Not what I expedted from a Holiday Inn...here were the things that upset me the most. 1: Booked a non-smoking room, entered a room swelling so much of smoke it made us all fell sick to our stomachs. Took about 40 minutes for them to change our room. 2: It is a crapshoot as to how nice your room is. Ours was in bad shape and it had a terrible tv that had no sound on half the channels. A room that was the same right down the hall had a nice flatscreen and looked more modern. 3: Good luck getting a hot shower in the morning. Wait till the night. 4: The internet was wired only. 5: The hotel description listed a jacuzzi but it was out of service and looked like it had not been used in a while. 6: In the staircases they were storing extra and broken furniture....very low standards. 7: It appeared that once a maids shift was over, they just left their stuff wherever they were last....doors were open all over the hall and carts were everywhere. I was dissapointed for my family, because the area was great, but we dreaded coming back to the hotel after a nice day out. Guess thats what you get for booking with a no refund policy...will never be back here and most likely will not return to a holiday inn.
