We stay at this location at least 3 times or more a year. Our son live close by. The interior curtain in our room were stained terribly and should have be changed. Overall we love this hotel and location. This is the first negative review I have given.

Nice hotel with a water slide and indoor pool - nice for kiddos ages 8-12. Rooms have kitchenettes that are decent. Some features are a little outdated, and the breakfast is very basic. Very good value for the price.

Family friendly
We came on a family trip and had 3 kids included in this trip. The waterslide in the pool was a huge hit. They had a great time. The breakfast is a small selection but for our family it was perfect. The only con we had was the Wi-Fi was super slow and sometimes was so slow that we couldn’t use it. I definitely don’t recommend for someone who needs access to the internal. Overall, the experience was really great for a family vacation!

I spent three nights here around Christmas time. I was looking for a place to host a small family get together because my mother couldn't travel to anyone's house but her place was not appropriate. I had an accessible room with two queen beds. It didn't have the coffee table pictured on the website, probably because it would have interfered with wheelchair or scooter access. The accessible bathroom was very helpful for my mother. It's a good thing she wasn't staying there, because I don't think she could have gotten her wheelchair to the side of either bed. The cupboards were too high for me, an able-bodied 5 ft 1 individual. The beds were comfortable, but we brought our own pillows. The square pillows provided by the hotel are bizarre. Other reviews complained about the towels but they seemed fine to me. The staff were friendly and helpful. I needed help with two items and both were resolved promptly. Breakfast options were pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, or yogurt, with juice and coffee. No cereal and no omelet station. There was fresh fruit. Kids loved watching the pancakes come out of the machines. Adults really missed the omelet station. For other meals, the kitchenette had the basics. You could also borrow a Crock-Pot or blender if you needed it. The refrigerator is larger than a dorm fridge, but not full size. The room had very few electrical outlets. I would stay there again.

When we first arrived the salesclerk was courteous. The room itself needs updated. The toilet was stained and had some flushing issues. The room was very spacious. The beds were EXTREMELY soft. When sleeping (queen bed—2people) we both sunk to a crevice in the middle. Breakfast was VERY lacking. Self made pancakes, yogurt apples, oranges and jimmy dean sandwiches were the only things offered. We did NOT care for any of the food. When we asked staff to help with making pancakes/questions about food staff was very short & almost rude. There is a game room with affordable options which was nice. A Sheetz across the street was convenient.

We went for my daughter's 2nd birthday weekend and all of my littles loved it there! The staff was very friendly and they had a decent breakfast selection. My kids loved the pool and the fact there was a waterslide. Plus there's a gameroom with a basketball court. After we checked out as we were loading my the kids all decided this is where they want to spend their birthday weekends. We loved how family friendly it was there

We have always loved the Mainstay in Grantville PA until this trip. I understand why the mini golf was replaced but now we have to spend more money for our kids to play the arcade games. Also, the breakfast used to be good but it’s ok at best now. Also, we had asked for adjoining rooms and when I called to confirm on the day we were arriving, I was told that we will have adjoining rooms but when we checked in we did not have them. Although, the staff was friendly and helpful and our room was clean I felt the amenities we were used to were gone. We were very disappointed because we try to visit a few times a year and almost always stay at the Mainstay. My husband said it’s time to find somewhere new.

I loved the hotel, staff and the price. There is a great pizza place I right next door and a convenience store across the street. Perfect. The breakfast choices were a little sparse but good quality.

Our room was clean and spacious, check in was easy, staff members were friendly. Our daughter loved the slide at the pool. Hotel has a game room, though we didn’t have a chance to see it. I’m picky when it it comes to hotels, but we would stay here again. Breakfast is basically pancakes and juice, or yogurt. (I don’t pick hotels on breakfast quality though) and check out is at noon which was a nice touch.

Nice comfortable stay
We had some allergy friendly food for our child that needed to be refrigerated asap. They were kind enough to be willing to keep it in their fridge if out room was not available by the time we arrived early. (It was!) The bed was very comfortable. The room had a small but functional kitchen. The breakfast was a bit disappointing; could be better with more options. But overall we had a comfortable stay.

Very convenient for the work activity I had scheduled. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. I will stay there again. The only thing I wish they would add is charging for electric cars.

Repeat guest, stayed on a quiet off-season night. Hotel is a family orientated extended stay facility so fixtures are well used but not abused. Has activities available for families with younger children and cooking facilities in each suite. All units have separate sleeping/living room areas, nice for sleepyheads. Did I mention that rate prices are also good.
