Existing Owners on the way outPosted Jan 11, 2015
My stay was adequate. Surprised there was no soap or drinking glasses in the bathroom. Room was comfortable and clean but grounds need attention. Breakfast was a disappointment - frozen waffle and very very crisp bacon. Hopefully, when new owners take over service and attention to detail will improve.

A lovely escapePosted Sep 4, 2014 on Hotels.com
This B&B is on a farm convenient to, but off the road. The guest house is elegant, welcoming and well maintained. The rooms are very large, well decorated and very comfortable. A wonderful breakfast included, is prepared each morning. We were lucky to have eggs fresh from the coup. Wine and cheese hour is a nice late afternoon addition. The wine was excellent vintage, altho perhaps the only critique is that the cheese was "minimal". Amenities are well thought out: in room bathrobes, ipad with netflix, two community sitting rooms with tv and comfy chairs for reading. A great place to relax and rejuvinate. I was hard to leave.

Quiet night in a Farm HousePosted Aug 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
We enjoyed our overnight stay at the Orchard House Bed and Breakfast. We were greeted as we drove in by Don who could not have been nicer as he gave us a tour of the house and showed us to our room. We never saw him again! But, he gave us his cell phone number and we did text him once when we had a question and he texted us right back. Andrew served us our breakfast in the morning, right at the designated time. It was delicious. Our room was charming, the bed and linens were comfortable, the bath was clean.

Very cozy with an awesome breakfast!Posted Jun 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed here as part of a Midwest road trip (it's near my alma mater) so stayed one night before driving out to Chicago the next day. We skipped the wine and cheese as I wanted to go see the Denison campus before sundown. However it was still light out when we got back after dinner, and I had a good chance to take some really fine pictures of the lawns and the animals. We stayed in the Walden room and it was very nicely set up. Soft beds and lots of charm. Breakfast was superb. Best waffles ever. Also farm fresh sausage, good OJ and coffee, and a ton of juicy hand picked berries on the plate. I would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Bed & Breakfast with fantastic food.Posted Apr 21, 2014
This was a refreshing alternative to the chain suite hotels we were staying in during our college hunting trip. The owners were accommodating, but not intrusive. Our room was fantastic and immaculate. And the breakfast was superb. Conveniently located close to downtown Granville.

farm setting 5 minutes from Granville OhioPosted Nov 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
The building has most of its former charm with an eclectic mix of fun. Our room was very comfortable and had a large bath and closet. The grounds are rural and gorgeous and there are many different animals to watch and say hello to. Breakfast was served in a pleasant sunroom and was delicious. We couldn't have asked for more!

Farm CountryPosted Aug 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
If you are looking for an out of the ordinary experience, the Orchard House Bed and Breakfast is a great way to experience Ohio farm country. It was a refreshing change from the usual corporate hotel chains. Waking up to delicious baking smells made the farmhouse experience all the more real.
