Memorable resort
Gorgeous hotel and location. Highly recommend to those who want to relax and be pampered. Professional service. I had the Swiss body treatment. Best treatment I have ever had and I have had many treatments all over the world. I had dinner at Memories located in the hotel. The cuisines and service were phenomenal. It truly was a memorable night.

Very nice hotel and amazing SPA
The hotel is great with a superb SPA. The staff is very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Parking should be included. It´s nonesense having to pay 25 CHF when the rate is already high.

A true five star experience in every way
To say that I didn’t want to go home is an understatement. This hotel is everything you dream a spa hotel should be. Elegant, sumptuous, five star service and quality in every aspect. The spa treatments are first class, rooms are spacious, pools are sparkling clean. The outdoor air is fresh and revitalising and the view in the morning looking out at the mountains makes it all worthwhile. Staff are courteous, gracious and helpful - so friendly - eager to please and are a credit to the establishment. I literally cannot fault them for anything. A perfect place to run away, contemplate, rest and rejuvenate. I’m counting the days until I return! Thank you!

Luxuriant spa weekend for couples
When we drove up, we were immediately greeted at the door by a number of attendants, whisked to check in and warmly greeted again. It set the tone for the whole stay, not only was the hotel and spa and room endlessly beautiful, the staff also could not be more friendly and accommodating. Everyone spoke English. The food was also very high quality, using only Swiss products for meat unless otherwise noted. Really it felt like stepping back in time to an era I could only imagine from the movies, of grand hotels and brass buttoned bellboys. Truly and wonderful weekend away! Of course the mineral waters there are very special and you must visit the private baths within the hotel; as a guest you also have access to the larger (but more crowded) public baths just a short stroll away (adjoining building). Make time to see both, but the hotel’s private facilities are more elegant and quiet. The grounds are also lovely and have many sculptures to enjoy.

A special hotel for a special spa weekend
Upon arriving at Bad Ragaz train station, we were welcomed by a driver and accompanying Porsche to take us to the hotel (a complimentary service, offered by the resort, but you need to contact them in advance). Check-in was smooth and effortless, and we were treated to welcome drinks in the lounge. The room was excellent, with a view of the mountains, and complimentary fruit. The best part of the resort has to be the spa. There's two spas, and hotel guests get complimentary access to both. The Tamina Spa is a huge beautiful building with a range of different pools, saunas and facilities. Just wander over wearing your bath robs from the hotel room. However, we preferred the hotel's Thermal Spa. It was far more peaceful and quiet, yet smaller than the Tamina Spa. We had dinner at the Michelin starred IGNIV at the hotel. The food is exceptional, and the sharing-style concept adds more involvement to the experience. I recommend booking a table with the concierge (I booked via email well in advance) as the tables sell out.

Great service and spa
Great service and very nice spa area. Good food at the restaurants. I gave low mark for comfort because the bed was too small.

Splendid hotel in a nice area of Switzerland
The hotel facilities and quality of materials used in its buildings an furnishings are top notch. As we were visiting relations nearby we had little time to benefit from the comprehensive list of "wellness" services on offer. However we sampled some food in two of several rated restaurants on site and were very pleased with its quality as well as with the staff that served us. We also bought some leather accessories in one of the in-house boutique shops and got a friendly service too. The hotel complex is large and employs a lot of staff all of whom we met were friendly discrete and engaged thus providing a personable atmosphere to the place despite its size.

Great Location But
This hotel is in a superb location for exploring the local countryside. The concierge, Pira, is extremely helpful and informative and directed us to a challenging Alpine walk with great views. However, we were disappointed by the room, which was very cramped. This is not what one expects from a hotel of this standard.

Great location
The Grand Resort is in a superb location for walking and exploring the surrounding countryside. The town of Bad Ragaz is charming with some lovely restaurants and a laid back atmosphere. However, room quality varies widely and we were very disappointed by our small, cramped room.

Superb Hotel
This hotel is absolutely beautiful. We had a lovely spacious room with a balcony. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the champagne reception during which the manager met the guests was a charming touch. We can't wait to return.
