Not great...Posted May 16, 2014
Arrived at 6:30pm. Reservation stated 3pm-8pm check-in. There was no one there to check in with, just an envelope with our name. No directions for free WiFi. Shower did not work (no water came out when turned on). View is good... if you look past the lumberyard. If you want a hotel far away from the center of town without any staff, then I guess I guess this is it for you. My best recommendation: stay somewhere else!

Pros: The price! There is a bus stop near by.
You need to be aware of desk hours! Pretty much only the bathroom tissue is supply. Bring your soap and shampoo.

Cosy hotel but not so great locationPosted Dec 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed in the 'studio' room at Hotel Stille. It is a cosy and quiet hotel located up on a slope near the lake. The nearest bus stop is a 8-mins walk from the hotel and it was an enjoyable walk along the way. The room/ mini apartment came with a kitchenette and a small dining/living area. Overall, the stay at the hotel was good and I would recommend it.
A sporthotel and apartmentPosted Aug 1, 2013
Pros: We only stayed one night on the way to Zermatt.
Cons: Remove it from the list of hotels. It is really a pension or hostel. Families traveling on a limited budget would find the family rooms okay.
Location: The town of St. Moritz is nearby and the lake view and walking trails could be delightful.
This facility is really a dormitory with more than fifty percent of the occupants athletes in training for Olympic and other competitions. The description of the rooms was inadequate in addressing the dorm environment.. "Basic" was the apt description offered by the manager. No elevator provided and limited selections on the breakfast buffet.

Spartan and out of the wayPosted May 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our reservation was for 3 adults, but the hotel was surprised that there were 3 of us. Each room holds only 2 people. Every 2 rooms share a bathroom. They were able to give us two rooms sharing a bathroom for the reservation price. The ambiance is a lot like a dorm - lots of college-age folks running and yelling in the halls, lots of folks hanging out in the common rooms. The wi-fi didn't work in our rooms, so we were in the common rooms too. The rooms are very spartan, with no soap or shampoo provided. The hotel is a long way from the train station, and a few blocks from the bus stop. We paid 25 CHF for a taxi from the train station and the return was about 17 CHF - ouch! It was a cold and rainy during our stay, so we would not have enjoyed walking with our luggage. If we had known where the hotel was and which bus to take, that may have been the best option. No restaurants or shops are nearby. The hotel was quiet at night, and breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Cheap but not conveniently locatedPosted May 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is ok but it has more of a youth hostel feel to it. Wifi only works on the first two floors not on the 3rd floor. Breakfast is complimentary with quite a fair selection
