“Great little hotel”

Clean. Lots of lovely pine accents. Best of all was the service. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Little bit of a hike from the train staion.

“Impressed much”

We went with family and stayed family room. The rooms are plenty of space in the attics and clean. The restaurant in the hotel is popular by local Swiss, and the food was delicious. We will book the same hotel for sure if we go to Chur again.

“Wonderful Hotel”

The hotel was very clean, breakfast was great and plentiful and the hotel restaurant had authentic Swiss dishes. We really enjoyed our stay.

“Very nice hotel in Chur”

Romantik Hotel Stern was very nice, with extremely comfortable rooms and a friendly staff. Its price was right in line with other hotels in Chur and was a good value for the quality of the hotel. The staff was very helpful in assisting us with directions and suggestions for skiing in nearby Arosa.

“Nice Place in Chur!”

Great proximity to train station and restaurants. Nice breakfast spread and comfortable rooms with cozy atmosphere. However, they don't have A/C in rooms so it can get a little warm, but nice overall experience.

“Charming but Noisy”

The restaurant is very nice as is the neighbourhood (old town pedestrian zone). The room was basic and clean but not sound proofed and you heard every conversation in the corridor or the courtyard.

Very nice hotel, only a 10 minute walk from the train. Room was on the 4th floor and on the small side. I'm 6'1" and bumped my head on the ceiling beams a few times due to the dormer effect, however neat, clean and comfortable. To reach the 4th floor rooms it's a one flight walk up from the elevator. OK, because the bellman takes the luggage from the 3rd floor elevator stop.

Description with Swiss pine paneling everywhere is accurate. We felt ripped off by cab, that didn't use the meter and charged us 10 Swiss francs to get us a few blocks away. We walked back to the station with our luggage in tow easily. Chur has a lovely old town, some wonderful churches, a history museum that is so-so. The hotel gave us coupons for a glass of wine, which led to dinner. It was very good. breakfast the next morning was very good too.

All hotels in Chur are expensive. Once you've got over that fact, this hotel was ok. It was clean, friendly and comfy

Hotel ok but bell ringing annoying
