This hotel suffers slightly from lack of sunshine and many rooms do not have much light - especially the ground floor rooms at the back of the property. The pool is a little cool considering there is no whirlpool and after skiing a nice warm soak is much appreciated. Service is great. The shuttle bus service is really great.

Good experience a bit pricey
The hotel is quite well located, very easy to hop on the bus and go anywhere. The staff was overall friendly, only situation I felt un-pleased with was dinning; due to COVID restrictions was difficult to get a table, and then they would charge an extra $10 for bringing the food to the room! It felt abusive, a bit like parking also; you are paying $300 per night, and then on top $15 per day for parking (that belongs to them)? Breakfast was delicious and with many options. One of the servers, Diana, is really amazing. The kids club was also a good surprise and the monitoring was great, kids were very happy. The additional features like pool, mini golf, game room, may not be the greatest yet they are very functional and it was very fun for the kids. For 2/3 of the price I would rate the Hotel as excellent.

Schönes Hotel am Waldrand gelegen.
Gut gelegen für Ausflüge in die Infrastruktur von Davos. Wir haben die Zeit als Familie sehr genossen.

The room was clean, and the woman at Front desk was very kind. I asked her to change the room to the one with bathtub and desk, and she immediately did it. The only thing I have to explain was the restaurant has only course menu, which costs 52 franc.

The rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. The staff was very attentive to our needs and had even laid out bathrobe and slippers for our daughter. There is a free pick up and drop off service to the train station which I think is really great for hotel guests to have. Breakfast buffet had a wide selection and the restaurant staff was very courteous and welcoming every time we were there.Overall we had a lovely welcome and a wonderful stay at Waldhuss hotel,wish we could have stayed there longer.

Excellent hotel with some noise issues
The hotel is excellent and staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I've seen anywhere. Spa area/saunas were great as well, though the quiet room wasn't very relaxing due to noise from pool area. My only complaint is about the golf course that our room was facing: they started mowing the greens at 6am right outside our window! I would absolutely stay at the hotel again and recommend the place to anyone, but would request a room that faces away from the golf course.

Superb hotel, with amazing staff throughout. Extremely comfortable beds and nice size rooms. If there was anything to say negative of the hotel, it would be the evening menu is slightly limited. Choice of meats, but only with the same sides of veg, same herb butter and fries!! Although the soups, especially the turnip soup is beyond good! However the breakfast selection is excellent, and the bar menu covers those last minute hunger pangs when coming from the slopes. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we will certainly be returning.

Fantastic Staff!!
Absolutely amazing staff. We've never experienced a friendlier, more customer focused team. A little pricey, but that's to be expected in Davos. Great breakfast, even by American standards.

Very Nice, clean comfortable room just off the main roads through Dovos. The price includes tickets for all of the surrounding lifts and buses which is an added bonus we were not expecting. Indoor pool was very nice but not as warm as I had hoped, but still swim-able (but I'm from Florida and like my pool water very warm) I would absolutely stay here again if I'm in Davos in the future.

Chalet Style Hotel with Awesome Service
We loved the chalet style hotel with excellent, friendly front desk service. Restaurant was top-notch in food quality and impeccable wait service. Awesome breakfast buffet served in the dining room. Enjoyed the spa with a huge indoor swimming pool. Hotel provided free transportation cards for use on city buses and mountain trams.

Blissful Stay
We are a family of 4 who booked this hotel so my husband could complete the K43 mountain marathon. It was perfect pre race preparation as our very quiet room was on the top floor with fab view of the mountains and a balcony to enjoy the sunrise before a breakfast that had everything you could want and more. Staff are all so friendly and accommodated any request from dinner reservations at other restaurants to searching for missing hats!

Fantastic hotel, especially the spacious rooms, the wellness area (which is a real plus after skiing) and the breakfast. The only exception to an otherwise top rating is the restaurant which I was unimpressed with.

Everything a hotel should be
Waldhuus Davos knows how a hotel should be. The staff was welcoming. The facility had everything needed. The room was tasteful and well appointed. The Wellness Center with great pool and sauna were wonderful. This is the place to stay in Davos.

Lovely traditional hotel in Davos
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We had a larger room on the 2nd floor with a very comfortable bed and seating arrangement. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful in booking a different reservation at another hotel. We also had dinner at the Waldhuus hotel, and both the food and ambiance was outstanding. Breakfast was included each morning and the buffet was also outstanding.

Nice looking hotel in quiet location.
Hotel is nice looking, internet fast, beds and bedding could use replacement, pillows had an odor. Room very clean, nice amenities. Cross country trails are across the street, but there is no ski in/ ski out from downhill slopes. Despite quiet location, it's only a five minute walk to main drag of Davos (convention center and the large Migros store/restaurant), and about three minutes to the bus stop on Talstrasse (to get to/from the downhill slopes). There is also a hotel shuttle, have not used it. Large indoor pool, but have not used it.

We chose to stay at the Arabella Hotel Waldhuus on a second occasion during a recent trip to Switzerland because we were so impressed with our first experience there. The staff is outstanding - knowledgeable and hospitable. Our rooms on both occasion were clean and well appointed. The hotel is off the main street, but within walking distance of restaurants, shops and lifts. Our visits were brief, so we didn't use all the facilities, but those that we had the opportunity to make use of were well maintained and easily accessed.

Fine hotel, but beware of the CHF25 corking fee!
This is a fine hotel with a well mannered crew. I won't list here all the things that were close to perfect, but will only criticize a few things: 1. The pool/sauna open times could be more generous. Sometimes some of these open at noon and close at 9pm. 2. Breakfast could start earlier than 7am. Having said that, when we left early in the morning, the crew was courteous to supply us coffeee and croissants 3. I organized a small wine tasting in the lobby of the hotel, serving about 6 wines (each CHF 15 or so), for a small crowd (9 people). I asked multiple times if this is OK, and the receptionists confirmed so. Then, when I started the event, the chap from the near-by bar (but in a different area of the hotel), told me that there is a CHF25 corking fee per bottle. So, it would have been CHF 150 for the whole lot (I stress that this is for wine bottles I already purchased, separately!). We just went up to my room and corked it for free. I think this corking fee is rather excessive and unreasonable.

Comfortable hotel, loved the coffee machine.
My husband attended a congress in Davos. We enjoyed the stay in the hotel and had two wonderful dinners in their restaurant. The staff can be congratulated on their friendliness and service. We found the skiing and the prices in town to be very expensive.

Great hotel but a bit far from other places, which is the reason we booked it. The sauna is nice but the pool is small and shallow and not really anything special. The staff were helpful and the included breakfast is amazing!

A great experience
My GF and I went to the Sheraton Davos hotel for a weekend getaway. We were pleasantly surprised by the placement, facilities and services. From spa services, served food, room quality to flexibility and responsiveness of staff. Everything fit nicely in an overall cosy high quality atmosphere. As a highlight, everyone seemed to be genuinely sincere about making your stay comfortable and memorable. We got even free passes to the surrounding cable cars and free buses around the city.

It doesn't get any better than this!
This hotel is simply divine. Gorgeous grounds, right on the Davis golf course. There is a hiking trail just outside our door. Our room is like something in a magazine! Our dog was made welcome on arrival, and we received a card, each, good for free bus, AND rail travel! This saves 84 francs for two people on the Parsenn lift alone! Dinner in the restaurant was superb, on the patio facing the mountains. Truly a delightful stay.
