“HAPPY NEW YORK TRAVELER”

Entire place very clean & well maintained. Bed very comfy, plenty of pillows, bathroom sparkling clean. Pool very clean well kept. This place is quiet, staff friendly & helpful, breakfast very good.

Everything was perfect! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was amazing also!

“not worth the money”

nice enough place but the price was way too high and I was there during off season. In high season (summer) the price almost doubles. definitely not worth the price but all other hotels in the area seemed to be about the same price. Vacation in a different place!

“It's definitely liveable”

We wanted to stay some place with a name that we knew, and we did. The hotel was clean. The front desk clerk was very nice and hospitable. We literally spent the night and left, so we didn't take advantage of anything else the hotel had to offer.

“Review”

We were welcomed by friendly staff. Our room was cute and clean.

“Average.”

Hotel was clean and quie but somewhat worn and dated looking. Service was prompt and friendly. The continental breakfast was ok but not impressive.

“Try another hotel until the management can get better help.”

The check-in was bad and then in the morning the breakfast stopped at 9:30. Not even a pot of coffee! The "help" that checked us out could not have been more hostle. She did not want to be at work. I will certainly check out another hotel when I need to stay in Houghton Lake again.

“Disapointment”

The room keys would not work and we had to have them replaced 3 times. 3 charges appeared on my credit card that I am fighting with to get removed. The hot water did not work and nobody out of my group of 5 people (2 rooms) could take a shower.
