“Gaylord Hotel”

Good experience here! Kids enjoyed the pool area which included hot tub and sauna (out of order during my visit)

Area recommendations
Located about 1 hr from Mackinac City and about 1 hr from Traverse City. The Gaylord area had lower prices that those resort areas.

“Impressed!”

The hotel was everything I expected and more. The service was great and I was very impressed by the complimentary breakfast! Great set up with really good food and coffee. The location was perfect, especially if you have plans to go skiing/snowboarding. Room was very clean and spacious. Would definitely stay here again!

“must stay place for ski trip”

This is our must stay hotel for our yearly ski trip because of its location and price. The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean. We loved to soak in the hottub after all day outdoor activities. The only comment we have is that we would like to have better choices of breakfast.

“Great value and 5 star Staff!!”

I was here for a business stay, and was very impressed with the quality of the hotel. It had all the amenities that I was looking for, a big comfy bed, and the service was second to none!! My only complaint were the thin walls, which let you hear verbatim the screeching conversations of the children that were running up and down the halls in the evening...
