We really enjoyed our stay at the Ramada in Grayling,MI. It was very quiet and I loved the setting and the size of the pool. The beds we very comfy and the TV, fridge and microwave were new. The only thing, was the bathroom. Hopefully, the tub will be updated and our sink was plugged...but those were minor things. Staff was great and breakfast was good! Also, after having driven all day, it was nice to find the hotel right off the highway!

Hotel was clean and neat. Older hotel and shower was weak. Didn't stay for breakfast. Would stay there again.

DisappointingPosted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: Hot Breakfast and Pool area was nice. We were able to walk inside
Cons: Cleaning Service and Water needs to be hot.
Location: Great location for kayaking and boating.
There was no hot water and the shower head was facing backwards. We left in the morning for a day excursion. When we returned at 6 pm, our room had had the towels and trash removed but was not clean. We had no towels to freshen up before heading to dinner. The note they left to tell us that they would be returning to finish cleaning was old and had been used many times over, revealing that this is a common practice at this hotel. When we went to the desk for new towels, they told us that they did not have any clean towels. Really? After returning from dinner and still no towels, we asked the manager about towels who then turned around and presented him with towels. Rain rolled in on Saturday and saturated the floor in front of our rooms. Buckets were every where including the area where breakfast was served. Might want to think about other accommodations.

Pretty good experience.Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Nice pool, whirlpool, kidding pool and play area for children. Nice breakfast buffet.
Cons: Need more staff cleaning rooms as well as checking in. Had to wait in long lines all 3 times I tried to check in.
Location: Location was right off I-75, so very easy to find. There are thing to do around there. Not a lot of nice sit down restaurants in that area.
Had some problems with checking in as the room was not ready @ 4pm, other than that our stay was very nice. Nice pool and play area for our grandson. Breakfast room was very nice and roomy and the food was good. I'd stay here again. Doesn't look like much on the outside, but one inside we found it to be a little gem.

Nice staff... Terrible facilty!Posted Aug 18, 2014
Staff extremely friendly, however this hotel is definitely 1 star if not half... The smell in the hallways is terrible, the shower head was just disgusting clearly hasn't been cleaned for years!!! There was hair on each towel in the room, yuck! The only reason this hotel even deserves 1 star is for the breakfast. Never staying here again!

Nice if you have kidsPosted Aug 17, 2014
The room itself was not large, though it did contain a small fridge/entertainment area, and clean though not 'new' looking. The advantage of staying here is if you have children; there is a good-sized pool, a kiddies pool, and a whirlpool, in addition to a playground area (indoor), an exercise room, a game room, a pool table, and a shuttle-board area. There is also an on-site dining area for breakfast and supper.

A room with two bedsPosted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: The beds were comfortable
Cons: Everything outside of the beds
Location: Golf nearby
We stayed here for one night. All we needed was a place to sleep before travelling to Kentucky. The hotel was not greatly maintained and very outdated but that is what you get for a cheap price. The bathroom was not that clean with the tub being dirty. The air conditioning was very outdated.

Nice hotel, very friendly staff. When we brought attention to a problem in our room, maintenance had it fixed quickly.

Ok for stopoverPosted Jun 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was a decent hotel for its purpose. I just needed a place to stop before continuing North. The room was ok, not great but not bad either for price paid. No luggage valet provided so I put my bags on the chair. There are a few places to eat and shop if you need stuff. I didn't use them but there is an indoor pool and arcade games for kids/families to unwind.
