“Good place to get away”

I found the hotel to be very relaxing. I had a view of the woods, and it was gorgeous. Wildlife everywhere! The service was great and the room was clean. Great place to go!

“Love the pool”

We come here a few times a year 4 Snowmobile season. We love the location to the trails and the pool. Its always clean and well worth the $.. The .. Sledheads

“Wilderness Getaway”

Perfect location south of Grayling nestled right in the woods. Has great wildlife viewing and an excellent pool and spa. Local construction was a little troublesome.

“Comfortable and a real bargain!”

On the way to Mackinac, convenient, clean and comfortable. Great pool and hot tub, and the desk staff was helpful and friendly. I believe her name was Kamie, gave us good advice about evening dining and tried to help us with an Internet printing problem. We have stayed here before and will do so again. Wish the breakfast were a bit more substantial, though.

“Great value for your money”

We arrived exhausted in Grayling at about 10:30. The hotel is easily spotten from the highway, and very easy to access!! Check in was quick, and we were in our rooms by 10:45. The hotel staff was efficient and friendly. The room was clean, and equipped with basic necessities, as well as a mini fridge. The pool/jacuzzi was open early and closed late, which was wonderful as we were there by ourselves early the next morning. This hotel had everything necessary for people on a budget who might want that little something extra.

“Lovely Retreat”

hotel is like a cabin in the woods because it is outside of town. I love the fact that the pool is open from 7am to 1 am. It is also close to a beautiful park at Hartwick Pines and a historic downtown.

A very quiet, comfortable place to relax and just get away for a few days. The price you can't beat. The quality is excellent and the free continental breakfast made my stay even more comfortable.

For the price we paid, the hotel experience was very good. We had a pleasant stay.

“A good North Country value”

My 2-night stay in this Super 8 was very pleasant. The room was exceptionally clean and had a lovely 2nd-floor view of the woods behind the hotel. The pool and jacuzzi were a welcome luxury after a day on the road. The continental breakfast was ample and the breakfast area was clean, neat and well-appointed. The staff, with one minor exception, was cheerful and helpful. I was there when a national festival was going on in a neighboring community so the hotel was full. Although there was a lot of activity in the public areas, my room was quiet. A word to the wise: this facility is NOT in downtown Grayling. It is one exit south of the city and is not within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, etc. There is a gas station adjacent that has a fast food outlet and convenience store. While the room-rate was not the cheapest in the area, this Super 8 was a good value. I will definitely stay there again.

“Can't wait to go back”

This hotel was a great stop in our fall color tour of northern Michigan. It has a great location with a lot of public land nearby, for uses such as hiking, snowmobiling, etc. Will definitely stop here again!
