I love this hotel. The hotel is in a quiet residential area and a converted apartment building. It was experiencing real life in Graz, in a fabulous modern apartment full of exciting artworks. The unit was immaculately kept, and all amenities were of luxury quality. The staff, both at night and in the morning, were friendly and helpful. Every corner of the hotel has witty, fantastic design elements that will delight you. We did not get to try them, but all the amenities, like the pool and conference rooms, look nice, clean, and well-equipped. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Graz, especially those who plan to stay for a while; 'Stay Artful'.

Modern & Friendly Hotel
This is a wonderful hotel, very modern, clean with very friendly malt staff with a lovely pool m, sauna and relaxation area with water and fruit Great you can hire bikes quite cheaply from the hotel which is a great way to explore Graz which is a beautiful city.

Great art, comfort and service
Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Room was the most comfortable of our 40 day European trip. Amenities stellar, location just a short walk to City Center and well connected with tram lines. A big plus, we got a fabulous room for under $100 per night!

Loved art, service, vanity kit, slippers and robe being available. Very comfortable bedding and pillows. Breakfast was great. Overall, 5 stars. One thing that was missing is USB port to charge phones that is present in newer hotels. I didn't have my converter that night, so was hoping to charge directly from USB port. Fortunately, stuff allowed me to borrow their converter.

The hotel is filled with bright art and has a small fitness centre and a nice sauna, pool and outdoor lounging area. Breakfast items were thoughtful on the buffet with eggs always made fresh. Every single staff in every role was very helpful for all asks including making sure I had a taxi at 445am. It was about a 10 minute walk to the conference and central areas of Graz. Definitely recommend.

Overall frustrating stay
Check in process was a but disjointed because I arrived before the room was ready. When I did return to check in, the basic info was not given and I had to ask. Thank goodness Diana was on hand to help out, especially when there was an electrical issue in my room and I needed to move. The new room seemed ok initially despite the large squashed bug on the ceiling leftover from a previous stay. As they night went on I had multiple issues with spiders crawling around and the air conditioning was broken making the room more like a sauna. The guest services rep came up twice to try to help, but her suggestion was to open everything up, which only invited more spiders. I also did not think leaving my front door and balcony door open was a very safe idea either. It was a very uncomfortable night. The shower is very slippery. I only mention if someone has mobility issues this could be a big concern for them.Breakfast was good, however, it would be helpful to have a coffee choice in the dining area without having to wait for the one server to be able to attend to everyone in the dining area. Another guest commented on this as well. I thought about using the pool, but in order to do so you have to go down the one elevator and parade though the front lobby where guests were accumulating which made it awkward.

Artsy but good!
Very friendly service and artsy hotel. Architecture one can debate but it works. Access to the room from outside is also totally fine, during winter I might think differently. Breakfast was good on quality, service requires some work to be on the same Level. Overall I can recommend especially when not required Totally central location. Price-quality very good.

The service from the staff at this place was terrible. They tried to give us a room that would only fit two people, even though we booked for 3 adults. We finally got a room that was suitable at the same cost, however at check-out they tried to change us extra anyway. The room itself was fine.

Nice comfortable hotel
Good value. Very clean, comfy, quiet. It’s a walk to the center. Not a long one as Graz isn’t that big so it’s a good trade off on distance vs cost. But I like the energy of being closer. Beds comfy, staff is very nice here.

Such a wonderful and unique hotel
I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful hotel. Staff was excellent and helpful. Hotel was wildly designed with all kinds of art, breakfast was delicious. Pool was great. We rented bikes from the hotel which made our stay in bike-friendly Graz that just easier. We could bike from Hotel to both Schlosses; Eggenberg and the one on the hill in the city. The “Friendly Alien” was two quick bridges up from where we stayed and the food near the hotel was so good. We were sad to leave.

The staff were excellent. They helped organise a local hire car on short notice. And when the hire firm brought the car but no ability to take a card payment the hotel reception staff organised the cash needed for the deposit. They went out of their way to help which saved me running around in the rain to find a cash point. Thank you!!!!
