“A few concerns”
The 2 hotel rooms our family stayed in did not have a microwave or refrigerator as stated. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not stay on and did not have a switch knob. When we called, they immediately sent a maintenance person to check it out. He put a switch knob on, but he explained that he was not an electrician and since it was Christmas day, one could not be gotten to work on it. That was understandable, but we stayed there 3 nights and no one pursued getting the switch fixed. The window unit fan was very noisy and clattery and sounded on the brink of quitting, plus the grill door with access to the controls was bent and wouldn't close. The pluses to the rooms were the wireless internet throughout (our family had 3 laptops). The rooms were very clean (though we received new coffee packets only on the first cleaning and had to ask at the front desk for more). The inhouse restaurant was a plus - good food, nice tables, seating, etc. (attraced locals - always a good sign), but the service was very slow (OK if you're not in a hurry, but for travelers, can be a problem)and the wait staff didn't get our order right (2 of 5 person's order was not right). The staff at the front desk were helpful and professional. The indoor pool and exercise area is nice (though there was a sign that the spa and sauna were 'temporarily' not working). Would consider staying again (there aren't lots of quality options available in Great Bend).
