Great customer service - door key didnt work and the repair guy kept me in the loop during the troubleshooting. He also provided clear communication.

Nice stay but only for a night or two
The resort was well-kept and in easy walking distance to restaurants and town. The rooms were clean but pretty spartan, especially the bathroom. The bed was really comfortable though. Resort amenities, like the tennis court, could use an update, and you'll need to be able to call Australian phone numbers to check in and communicate with the hotel.

It was a nice weekend away for me and my family. The location was perfect, the rooms were nice and had everything we needed. It could've been a bit cleaner and the walls were pretty thin so we heard a lot of our neighbours. But what we needed it for, it was pretty good.

Only disappointment was no tv in the bedroom of the 1 bed suite and the loungeroom had 2 chairs not a lounge. Aside from those 2 things amazing stay, comfy beds, quiet location and friendly staff.

Thank you for telling me at 12.13pm on the day of my check in that Reception was closing at 2.00pm, despite the numerous emails ahead of my stay, this was a first! It turns out the staff were having their Christmas Party on that day, just lucky I didn't want to dine at The Coast Restaurant that evening. "Entertainment - Satellite Channels" very limited availability, all the channels I selected required a subscription upgrade! "Internet - Free WiFi" neither my mobile or my laptop could detect the WiFi network on the property? "Practical - Desk" there was no desk or adequate workspace in my room. But the favourite part of my stay, trying to access the wardrobe to hang up my clothes.

Overall pretty disappointing
My partner and I had booked a night here in October but had to postpone it due to Covid, so we were super excited to finally escape Melbourne this weekend for the first time in months and come down to Anglesea. Unfortunately the resort was a bit of a let down. The resort in undergoing some renovations so the restaurant is only available for room service and pool isn’t available at all (which isn’t mentioned anywhere and is something we had been looking forward to using) We were able to hear people using he showers in guest gym next door from inside our room which wasn’t terrible but definitely wasn’t great. When we first checked in we were able to park outside our room however when we came back from dinner later that night there wasn’t an available car space anywhere inside the hotel so we were forced to park on the street about 100 metres from the hotel. I don’t know why they couldn’t just all cared a car park per room like a lot of resorts/motels do. However the most disappointing thing was the lack of cleanliness - when we checked in there were dirty finger prints over the handle of the fridge door in our room, there was residue from food and drink in one of the mugs and bowls in the room and

I had high expectations when booking this trip but felt very let down. I ordered a room with continental breakfast daily which I was really looking forward to and made this hotel stand out from the rest in the area only to be told that they don’t do breakfast. While I was refunded my money it was still a let down. When given the key I wasn’t given a map and had to screenshot the wifi login and password and was left to find my own way to our room. The room was missing some welcoming touches such as a welcome pack, the number for room service, maps, info about on site facilities and/or local numbers for local businesses/taxi etc. I feel for a highly rated hotel it offered us less then most caravan parks we’ve stayed in. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the pool was warm. The spa was also I feature I was looking forward to which was a let down as it also wasn’t available. The menu for the restaurant lacks fun and flavour and is not really family friendly. The Parma and gummy shark was nice but the pizza menu was lacking Family favourite toppings forcing us to order from a local pizza place. The stay was okay but far from the luxury of a 4 star hotel on our particular visit! Hope you have better luck if you’re choosing to stay here!

While my wife and I only stayed here overnight to attend a wedding, the room was very clean and spacious, and check in/out was very smooth. Reception are very friendly and helpful too. The amenities appear fantastic - probably an ideal place to bring a family (pool, tennis court, trampoline area). Will stay here again when I’m next in Anglesea.

Nice stay on GOR
Great, large two bedroom apartment. All the rooms look a little different, so do some research before booking. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff were all very nice and welcoming.

Great location for my wife and I. One issue that reception said they would get maintenance to check into, the hot water in our room was only warm. Good continental breakfast, friendly staff, who were willing to chat about local tourist sites.
