I saw a pileated woodpecker on the trees in the back lawn area. The food was fine; nothing to rave about. There were spiders in the ceiling corners of my bathroom. Since I was visiting my daughter who had been stabbed on a local rail trail, I found the only place to walk was around the parking lot and lawn area. Since I didn't know the area I didn't walk the side streets.

I spent $175 for a room. I came to the hotel with my child for rest and relaxing . The following morning I was rudely awakened at 9:30 AM by housekeeping pounding on the door not knocking nicely but pounding and saying they were told that I checked out already. Then they pounded again at 10:30 and then again at 11as I was literally getting ready to walk out the door. I went to the front desk to hand in key cards and voiced my concerns and was met with a careless attitude. He basically just nodded his head . How disrespectful that I was woken so early and couldn’t fall back asleep !

Clean, nicely furnished, comfortable. When we first entered room it had a slightly stale odor but as soon as we turned on HVAC fan it freshened up. Refrigerator was off when we arrived so it took awhile for it to cool down so we could use it - I understand refrig being off until occupant arrives is an "eco" feature... only other issue was the toilet ran each time you flushed until you jiggled the handle to get the tank flapper to close. Staff were very pleasant and the "made to order" breakfast each morning at the hotel restaurant was excellent.

Room was clean and I loved the Dove hand wash and body lotion. Used the Fitness Center each day which was great. Was very pleased with sanitizing hand cleaner dispenser at every doorway. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant on site was great. The bathroom sink was not draining properly but housekeeping assured me they would take care of the problem.
