“Family getaway”

We have stayed at this hotel twice and it is a very well maintained hotel. We had one problem that we were on the ground floor and the outside sprinkler system came on very early (around 6am) and was hitting the siding very hard and it woke up our whole family. It sounded like someone was dragging a trailer without wheels across the parking lot. It went off around 7 am but had already disturbed our sleep.

“Good nights sleep”

We have stayed at a different hotel in this town and were not impressed at all, but the micotel was clean and comfortable and a reasonable rate. The colors in the hotel are very inviting, the beds/pillows are extremly comfortable and they had no problem giving up extra pillow even tho there was already 3 on each bed. The continental breakfast was good, fresh bagels, boiled eggs, fruit, yogart, and a waffle machine to name a few, even the coffee wasnt bad. As far as the restaurants in the immediate area we didnt have good luck, it seems customer service is not a priority in this town, we did however find a nice place to eat at the diner up the road. We were in town for the weekend and it was nice to come back to a clean, comfy room! I would reccomend this hotel and will stay again next year.

“Great Inn”

the Microtel Inn was very clean and well kept we were very pleasenly surprised that they had complemetry Breakfast we did not expect that and it saved us time and money not having to stop again. Would highley recommed it

“Great updates”

I was in the area for business. The hotel had great udates. My room had flat screen TV and free internet access. There was a business center in lobby with computer for printing. Great breakfast as well.

“Great hotel, great price”

We had a mini suite. There were two desks, a sitting area and a breakfast bar. There was a kitchenette we utilized as well. The room and hotel were very clean. The cookies were excellent. I used the exercise room and wireless without incident. The free breakfast had an large assortment of foods and I love making my own Belgium waffles. I was totally pleased and that never happens to me.

“Central location for Great Lake Sacandaga”

Nice surprise as this hotel was affordable and very convenient to the surrounding areas. RIght at the beginning of the Johnstown strip and a short drive to the Lake and surrounding areas.

“A definite place to Stay”

I was leery about staying here at first, however the Hotel Staff, cleanliness, Continental breakfast quickly made this a definite do-over when I travel back to the area. Stayed for three nights, wish I could have stayed longer.

“Good Room - Good Price”

As often happens, the first non-smoking room I was given had the definite odor of recent smoking. Unlike what often happens, however, I was quickly given another room quite free of the odor. On the whole it was an excellent choice for a one-night-stay in the midst of a trip.

“Pleasantly surprised”

Never heard of this hotel and was relieved to find that it was clean, staff was courteous, and the continental breakfast was good. I felt like I got what I paid for and would stay at this hotel again.

“Nice place to stay”

I always like Microtel Inns. Their properties are usually quite new (this one was built a couple of years ago) and though the rooms are small they are well designed with lots of thoughtful touches. Quality is better than some expensive chains; best mattress I've ever slept on and towels are thick and cushy. Our room was very clean The free breakfast was phenomenal, with make-your-own waffles besides toast, yogurt, cereal, etc. The coffee, tea and juice machines are available 24/7. The room had both wifi and plug-in Internet access. I used the computer and printer in the lobby, too. Only problem we had was with a noisy person in the next room one of the nights. Wish the walls had more soundproofing. The Inn was easy to find and was convenient to shopping down the road. This was one of the least expensive motels in the area, and I feel it was an excellent value. We would definitely stay again if we're in that area.
