We only had one night in Gatlinburg but we completely enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice, the view was terrific and the bed was comfy. The morning buffet was the best I've had. The made to order omelets were relish. John the chef went above and beyond!!!! He asked what were were doing and when we said we were going to go hiking for the day and make our way down to Asheville, NC he packed us a goodie bag. All the staff were friendly and there to ensure you enjoyed your stay. The shuttle bus service into town came right to the front door of the hotel and took you into town for a nominal fee. We took the shuttle bus and the drivers we had were very nice. This will be where we stay the next time we come to the area. Oh yes, warm cookies were fantastic!!!

Very reasonable room price and fantastic breakfast plus free parking were just the beginning.
Our main goal was the Ober Tram &Ski Village Amusements. Good family fun. We were delighted to find out we were right next door to it on the main street (441) near stoplight #10. We had a balcony over looking the river. Wonderful pool/jacuzzi area . We could walk everywhere we wanted to see in Gatlinburg. With parking hard to find or costly that was a big plus! All best shopping within a 4-5 block walk. Great restaurants & shops on our block. Be sure to check up coming events. We had street performers at night. Great fun!
Gatlinburg is a one of a kind town that we love going back to. Even though we were off of the main street
our room was quiet.

After reading many positive reviews about this hotel, and a handful of very poor reviews, I really wasn't sure exactly what to expect. But my husband and I were very happy with the hotel staff and the accommodations.
The morning after we arrived in Gatlinburg, our car broke down. On a Saturday afternoon on a holiday weekend, we were not having any luck finding an auto shop who could handle the repairs for us.
We stopped by the front desk kind of as a last resort, and Eric gave us the name of a local mechanic and a towing company. In no time we had all arrangements in place for the tow, a rental car and the repair work.
It all worked out very nicely and we hardly missed a beat.
Everyone from the front desk staff, the woman who cleaned our room, and the restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful.
