The carpet was stained. Squished bugs on ceiling and walls. The seats were so disgusting we would not even put a bag on them. The bed was sunken and you could feel every spring. Dude with loud engine doing ‘deliveries’ all night. This was terrible and so not worth the money.

The room was clean but very much in need of complete renovation and modernisation! Ok for a one night stop over but thats all. Albany is amazing with plenty to do and see, costal views that take your breath away!

checking in was easy, the receptionest was really nice ( sorry forgot her name ) we had a standard room and was suitable for our needs and very clean.if i had to pick a negative for me it was having a top sheet on top of the doona, although i believe this is the in thing now, to me it is quicker, easier & cooler to just to remove the doona and leave the top sheet on, but everyone is different. so not a big deal.

We liked the peace and quiet even though the hotel is situated on a busy road, and there is a cycle path connecting you to city centre.

Trip down south
Good location and a 20 min walk to town to shop and visit some pubs. Rooms clean and tidy and the top side rooms have a good view across to the North/East.

Power was turned off 2 hours prior to paid checkout time. We realise this was out of property’s control but this information was not disclosed until after checkin and payment for the stay was complete and only provided via a note left on the bed, information not disclosed at time of checkin via reception and only discovered much later in the evening as on arrival bags only dropped off into room so we could attend to other business. Very inconvenient to set early morning alarm after a full day of travel and preparation for family funeral just to ensure a shower and preparation for the day. If we had been made aware of the scheduled power outage, given the purpose of our booking accommodation, we would have booked elsewhere.

This is the second time iv stayed here, The only thing that was a little inconvenient was I booked 2 rooms got them next door to each other 1 had a smart TV the other didn’t I’d recommend smart TV’s in all rooms but apart from that stay was good.

It is basic accomodation. Clean and convenient ,location. Only thing was the air cond as it keeps cutting in and out and loud noises. Generally it provides well.

Expedia staff took my $313.12 as a bond last week without any explanation and I’m still waiting to get back my money. I was too embarrassed and spent couple of hours to figure it out during my trip and it made me upset about Expedia. I hope to get back my money as soon as possible.

We had a good size king bed room which was quite comfortable. The curtains blocked out all light enabling great sleep ins. Could here next door's shower and exhaust fan though.
