Needs some touch ups
Posted Jan 22, 2013
Pros: Close to Glasgow Airport
Cons: Creaky bed, lumpy mattress.
Location: Difficult address to find. Recommend using GPS to locate.
This hotel is close to the Glasgow Airport, which is why we chose to stay here. It is a little worn around the edges inside but clean. The bed in our room was creaky and lumpy, which was unexpected. Exterior could use some clean up. Perhaps we came before they had cleaned the property for spring guests.

Friendly welcome ..

Pros: Large comfortable room
Location: less than 10 mins taxi ride from Glasgow Airport
Very friendly, homely welcome; value-for-money tasty food; a great retreat from a busy day with gales blowing hard outside ! The Ashtree is now my automatic choice for business trips to the Paisley/Renfrew area.

Cosy and welcoming
Posted Jan 10, 2013
Pros: Comfortable room.
Cons: Not much to mention... ceiling could do with a bit of a touch up.
Location: Very convenient for Paisley high street, slightly tricky to find though if new to the area.
This was a very friendly and welcoming hotel, perfect for a weekend trip to the Paisley area. I'd definitely consider staying here again if or when I return to the area.

Highly Recommended Independent Hotel

Pros: Design & quality of the room, especially the luxury bathroom. Genuine friendliness & great attitude of the staff
Stayed at this hotel whilst on business in the area. I'm told that all the rooms are different - the one I had looked like it had recently been decorated - new very high quality solid wood furnishings etc.. and a high spec luxury bathroom with fantastic shower! I didn't eat at the hotel in the evening but enjoyed a superb breakfast. Plus points for me were the quality of the room and the fantastic friendly attitude of all of the staff. Highly recommended.

Set in its own walled garden, a beauty!
Posted Jan 3, 2012
Pros: Beautifully decorated totally in-keeping with it's age but with all modern facilities including WiFi and a lovely en-suite.
Cons: ...leaving it behind!
Location: Nicely situated in the town center this hotel is best situated for business, tourism and visitors to the University.
It was absolutely lovely from the time we arrived until the time we left. The Stewart family are extremely accommodating, with an abundance of local knowledge.

The best hotel for people of ALL ages!
Posted Jan 22, 2012
Pros: The friendliness of the staff, the beauty and character of the building and the big, beautiful and inviting bathtub!!
Location: It is set in a part of Paisley that has SUCH beautiful architecture and rich history!
The Ashtree House Hotel was the most WONDERFUL place to stay! We had never been to Scotland before as a family and all of the staff there treated us like we WERE family! The food and the service was TERRIFFIC and you can tell they ALL genuinely cared about you and your comfort while you were there! The room we had was VERY comfortable for the 4 of us and it was not only BEAUTIFUL and inviting, but we had a WONDERFUL view from the front AND back of our room! There is a lot of beauty and charm in the building AND the people and you will NOT be sorry that you stayed there. If we are blessed to ever go back, you can BET we will stay there AGAIN! Thank you AGAIN Maureen and staff for loving us and taking care of us like you did! We will NEVER forget it!
