Hübsches Hotel in nähe des Theaters

Posted Dec 4, 2014
Pros: zentrale Lage

Good location

Good location 1 block from train station and very close to lively nightlife. Big downside is no elevator and tiny room, but very well equipped. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Pros: Proximity to amenities
Cons: N/a
Location: Near Sauchiehall Street / concert hall / taxi ranks and train station
First time stayed in this hotel and certainly will be back. Great experience and staff were friendly and welcoming and had such a good stay booked again for March 2015

old fashioned small hotel

Posted Oct 28, 2014
We stayed for a weekend in October 2014. The hotel is fine, nothing special. The rooms are small with creaky floorboards so you can hear people walking around in the next rooms. The bathrooms were very small, nothing luxurious about it, functional.Basic toiletries - just shower/hair gel and soap. Everything was clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was very nice, staff very pleasant and helpful. It is a small hotel in a street of old terraced houses, not a large modern hotel, more of a guest house. Good value for a night or two but not for a special break.

Nothing special

I booked Best weston after the experience we had in Best Weston in venice. Very disappointed as it didn't match up to our expectations. Noisy end room with bathroom needing an update. Not worth what we paid which a fraction less than other high end hotels in the area.

poor 3 star hotel. Should be B and B

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: The buffet breakfast was acceptable. There is no restaurant for evening meal.
Cons: Whole place requires to be modernised.
Location: Long walk to town centre. One or two nice restaurants near by. Short bus trip Kelvingrove.
internet. room pictures misleading. Third floor rooms small with cracked ceilings and no bath. There is no lift and no bar.

Sehr hübsches kleines Hotel

Posted Oct 11, 2014
Cons: Nein, unbedingt so bleiben.

Excellant Choice

Posted Oct 10, 2014
Pros: Central position
Spent an overnight here after a show at the Hydro which is about a 15 min walk away. Situated just off Sauchiehall Street it is within close proximity to numerous bars and restaurants. The hotel was clean and on a cold autumn evening warm and welcoming. The room was comfortable with all the usual facilities, ours was to the front but there was absolutely no noise from the street.

Pros: V good
Cons: Bathroom smelt of mildew , black mould around the base of the tiles, the shower curtain was smelly from mould.
Location: how to cure the above :- use straight bleach on the offending surfaces.
