Great hotel, great mood.Posted Jan 20, 2015
This is an excellent hotel/resort. It is of the standard you would expect for the price you pay. Staff very helpful and attentive, facilities top notch. Very nice ambiance as soon as you walk into reception areas. Book one of the colquhoun suites c/w balcony, they are large and luxurious. Small issue with the bill that was corrected immediately without issue by reception staff upon check out.

Luxurious hotel ideal for a day of great golf.Posted Jan 11, 2015
Pros: The luxury and attention to detail. The door staff were just lovely and every member of staff was friendly, from the maid to the managers.
Cons: Later check out time!
Location: Golf and all outdoor pursuits. Ideal base for exploring the west coast.
We spent a night of our honeymoon at Cameron House. A day of golf at the beautiful Carrick course, followed by a swim and spa to ease our wind and rain beaten bodies! The staff were amazing when we arrived weary. They took our clubs and dried them off and looked after us. Our suite looked out over the Loch and was sumptuous. We ate at the Grill and had fabulous service and beautiful chateaubriand with a full bodied red wine completed our day. Wish we could have stayed longer. .

Nice hotel. Lovely room. Lack of organizationPosted Jan 4, 2015
First room allocated door would not lock. Quickly moved to another room. Ate in hotel restaurant. Food good apart from a side order of veg which was absolutely covered in salt - so bad it could not he eaten. After mentioning this to staff it was removed from the bill. When bill arrived it included two glasses of wine ordered by the table next to us. Staff very helpful. I just think this hotel has a few teething problems which when sorted will make it a very good place to stay.

Amazing hotelPosted Dec 29, 2014
Pros: Everything the location , the room and the service and beautiful swimming pool
Cons: Maybe they should add a guest cloakroom - I had to store them in our room
Location: Unfortunately we were there just 2 days for the wedding so had no time to explore
The most fabulous hotel I have ever stayed at , the location was amazing surrounded by the lake. Ideal place to get married. Now I see why my son and daughter-in-law choose to get married there. Staff were great and very helpful I could not fault it in any way. The only thing I was disappointed in was they had no cloakroom for the guests .

Beautiful luxury hotel in a magnificent location.Posted Dec 1, 2014
Lovely relaxing stay in magnificent surroundings. Room excellent. Leasure facilities really good: two big pools with water slide sauna etc. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Only downside: meals and booze very expensive. Excellent quality, but be prepared to pay top dollar.

Beautifully situated in the edge of the LochPosted Dec 1, 2014
Pros: The real log fires throughout the hotel were a welcome joy in a cold misty November.
From arrival we were greeted by courteous staff, which continued throughout our stay. The room was superb and extremely comfortable and clean. We ate in the evening at the boathouse which was an excellent choice and were able to take advantage of the hotels car service to and fro to avoid the rain ! In the morning the sun rising over the Loch was visible from our room which was a splendid bonus. Breakfast was faultless with a menu to cater for everyone. A totally enjoyable stay.

Relaxing birthday weekendPosted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: Loved the leisure facilities and the relaxed atmosphere.
Location: Great for walking, retail therapy, eating and drinking, sports, chilling out
This stay was a birthday treat for my hard working partner but was just as much a treat for me. The facilities were excellent and the staff were all friendly and courteous. The swimming pool is the best I have been in and rekindling our game of table tennis was an unexpected bonus. The local walking is excellent with splendid views and there is a fine choice of local hostelries.
