Hospitable, kind and friendly. FREE mini bar and lovely crystal decanters of scotch, gin and sherry - - all complimentary. Perfect location by Queen Street Station and near George Square, lovely shopping and excellent restaurants. Have been twice and hope to return!

“Great central hotel”

The hotel is centrally located next to Glasgow Queen Street railway station, with easy access to the rail line to Oban and the Islands. It is also easy to walk to the shops and attractions in the centre of Glasgow. The scheduled bus service from Glasgow airport stops just outside the hotel, so there is no need to use more expensive taxis (even with heavy luggage). A nice touch with this hotel was the drinks in the mini bar were all complementary. The person in charge was extremely customer-focussed and gave us a free promotional internet card which accessed their wireliness internet. The hotel had a lift for luggage.

we are slowly working our way through the glasgow 4 star plus hotels and recently stayed in the carlton george the radisson before this. the carlton george is the best so far friendly staff executive lounge lovely food rooftop restaurant what more can i say if i had to pin point a fault it would be the room size not that large but adequate.

“Worth the money”

Good hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Room as described, clean, toiletries and bathrobes, internet, etc all supplied. The hotel does not have a bar, but the mini bar is free, yes free. I came back late one night with some mates and we cleaned the mini bar out. No problems, it was refilled the next day. Also the break fast is free as well. A nice touch is the late check out time of 12:00. When you take into account the free mini bar and breakfast, the hotel is on the cheap side for the extras they provide for free.

“Great value in Glasgow”

Location is excellent. Near George Square and railway station. Room was more than adequate. I wanted an exterior view, but that room was more expensive, so took the interior. Bathroom immaculate. Good shower. Complimentary mini bar restocked daily. Did not eat breakfast at the hotel so can't comment. Reception gave us coupons for free drinks at the bar/club next door.

“Glasgow is miles better.”

For a brief stay in Glasgow after travelling by train, this hotel was an excellent choice. The room was spacious, attractively furnished with a good bathroom. The bed was large and comfortable and a good night's sleep was easily obtained. All staff were polite and helpful and I really enjoyed my stay. I'd certainly like to stay again, because I loved Glasgow and this hotel.

“Great location, simple room”

We stayed four nights at this hotel as a golf base so that we could enjoy a large town. It has a great central location so there is no need to drive. The rooms are simple, comfortable and clean but nothing special. On the downside, there is no internet connection (a cafe 50 along has one) and the parking is a ten minute walk.

“GReat deal for the centre of Glasgow and very comfortable too!”

Booking this hotel included a free glass of wine on the roof top terrace.. We had to dine in the hotel restaurant to get this wine. After a hard afternoon of sight seeing, we decided to dine on the roof top restaurant. The food was gourmet and delicious. Very good service and value for venue. We had coffee outside on the little patio with chesterfield seating. Very special.. great view of Glasgow, Mary Poppins chimney pots and other buildings around.
