New year breakPosted Jan 3, 2015
Pros: Location and comfortable rooms.
Cons: Unless you have access to the executive lounge,no communal areas apart from restaurant.
Location: Perfect location everything on the doorstep
Nice comfy rooms, friendly staff however on New Year's Day when pretty much everything is shut if we hadn't had access to the lounge would have spoiled it a wee bit.

Pros: Warm welcome on arrival from friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble for staff. Free mini bar in room a definite plus. Comfy bed and peaceful room
Location: Very central to shops bars & restaurants.
Central location. Less than 5 minutes walk from station. Shops, bars and restaurants on the door step. Will definitely be rebooking this hotel again on our next trip to Glasgow.

Lovely hotel, excellent staff, right in the centrePosted Dec 5, 2014
Pros: Quality small hotel close to everything, excellent!
Cons: Shower could be better and also the breakfast
Location: Could not be better, close to stations, shops and some great eating!
Could not have been better, right next to station, shopping on the doorstep and lovely restaurants all around. Staff are excellent and you will love the lounge on 7th floor!

Excellent One Night StayPosted Nov 20, 2014
Pros: Location, clean, pleasant staff.
Cons: As with many hotels, the heating in the room was too much but there is aircon!
We wanted a city centre hotel while in Glasgow for a concert. This was a superb choice, literally just round the corner from the railway station and a short hop to the shops. We even walked to and from the SSEC - it's not that far in flat shoes! Free mini bar was a pleasant surprise. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel on this occasion so can't comment on the food but I would most definitely stay here again.

Restricted accessPosted Oct 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
Due to parking restrictions it was difficult to get baggage in and out of the hotel. My driver had to park a few hundred metres away. The sooner the parking issue is resolved the better.

Great location & service. Hotel slightly dated!Posted Oct 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
We really enjoyed our stay and thought the complimentary minibar and decanters were a lovely (and unusual) touch. Location is perfect - could not have been more central. I thought the decor was in need of some updating (especially in the hallway) and our shower in room 207 only had 2 settings - boiling and freezing. Didn't bother complaining as we were only there for one night and just had a bath instead. Would definately return.

Nice and central.Posted Oct 11, 2014
Central Glasgow which was nice. Friendly staff. Dated décor, noisy room. Was okay because of it's proximity to the city center. Complimentary bar was a nice touch.

Has some drawbacksPosted Oct 5, 2014
Pros: Good location if in a very busy area
Cons: Our room would've been more comfortable with about half the furniture and a better layout, and some insulation from the street noise might have helped
Location: Tons of shopping nearby- the upscale Prince Square is the nicest. Take the nearby subway to Hillhead- neat area near U of Glasgow.
The hotel is located in the middle of town and is a little tricky if you are driving but right next to the train station. They give a good discount at a large mall parking garage a few blocks behind it. The room was crammed with furniture & there was a little odd alcove where the desk w/hair dryer were located. The mini bar was free if not overly stocked or chilled. Breakfast is not included though they give a coupon for a free drink at Waxy's next door- fine for a drink but fuggeddaboutit if you want food, there is barely any staff in a huge place. Biggest gripe was the street noise. Police and fire sirens were going off all night long and it made sleeping very difficult. The staff was nice and maybe a room at the back would work out, but I wouldn't return due to the noise.
