ExcellentPosted Oct 24, 2013
Pros: Old fashioned furniture, high ceilings, four poster bed, bath tub, staff, breakfast.
Cons: Not at all the hotel and staff were lovely.
Location: The hotel is beside byres road where there are really nice pubs and places to eat. Its also across from the botanic gardens which is lovely to walk in
We stayed for one night and the staff were very nice and there was a complimentary breakfast which was really nice. The interior of the hotel was old fashioned and the furniture was lovely. The room was very spacious and clean and the bath tub was lovely. The room was neutral colours which allowed the furniture to stand out really nice to look at I would love to live in this building!

Hotel in town centrePosted Oct 13, 2013
Pros: Breakfast was freshly cooked and staff were very pleasant and friendly
Cons: Better not to have any scrim curtains than filthy ones
Location: In city centre and close to everything, also easy access in and out of town if travelling by car..
Stayed in Glasgow one night.. Worst nights sleep, wedding over the road and very noisy, even with windows closed. Traffic also a problem. Parking was problematic. Very little private parking. Had to park on street and worry about topping up metre until late at night. Room was reasonably clean. But the scrim curtains were filthy, black at the bottom in fact. Good sized room though and the hotel was right near a popular eating area of the town centre, plenty of bars etc nearby

We stayed for 1 night prior to an 'open day'.Posted Sep 5, 2013
The welcome was very friendly, we were able to use the (small) private car park, the room was more than we could have expected, the breakfast was lovely and it was served very promptly by 3 members of staff.

They don't have wifi, and the carpet was filthy. Would not stay again, would go to the country and stay in a bed and breakfast.

Fantastic valuePosted Jul 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
For the price we paid we expected a hotel of much less quality, but were very surprised by the lovely modern room and excellent breakfast the next morning. Highly recommended!

Good basic accommodationPosted Jul 8, 2013
Pros: Location, accommodating staff.
Cons: Room was a bit small.
Location: Near the botanical gardens, and not far from Kelvinhall museum and art gallery.
The staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was very good. The location was excellent for our purposes. Some of the clientele seemed to be government-sponsored, but having said that, nobody caused us any problem. I think I would go back there again, if we needed to be in that locality.

Limited parking. Average breakfast but lovely, well kept and clean room. Well worth the money. Will use again.

Tired but happyPosted May 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is quite like a really big B&B in the service you get but put aside the tired reception area and compact breakfast area (why??) it is clean and the room we had was HUGE. Cheap and cheery, but not for those with mobility problems.
