Hotel was fine but poor internetPosted Aug 14, 2014
Pros: Rooms were nice and hotel staff were really polite
Cons: Internet, better hair-dryers, plug sockets next to bed
Location: Could do with better public transport into the city
Good hotel with really polite staff, however the mattress was really hard. Paid for two day internet but it didn't work very well, was able to get a refund for it. Convenient location. Was given a feedback questionnaire in my room that someone else had already completed.

Good hotel if going to concertsPosted Jun 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
I have stayed in this hotel previously and it was supposed to have been refurbished but I couldn't see much of a difference in the bedrooms. The hotel is perfectly located for attending concerts in the SECC or Hydro but is a few miles away if you are going to the centre of Glasgow. The breakfast in this hotel is its main draw as it is excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The health club is small but adequate. The only let down we had was that we had to queue for over half an hour for a drink when we came back after a concert. More bar staff should have been allocated. I would stay in this hotel again as I have found it to be the best in the area of the concerts.

Overnight StayPosted Jun 19, 2014
Location: Fantastic location for SECC
It was a good room but could have been a lot cleaner, the staff were very friendly and had a sandwich in the bar that was good, but just felt the place could have been cleaner.

Location to city center was perfect. Short 6 pound taxi ride to Buchanan Street. Great service and friendly staff. I would stay here again. Hotel was very clean.

Lovely hotel overlooking the ClydePosted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: Easy access to and from motorway; good parking; friendly, helpful staff; lovely clean, modern hotel with swimming pool and leisure facilities.
Cons: Changing rooms in the leisure side are rather tired and could do with updating, especially the showers. Compared to my gym back home, need a facelift
Location: Great location beside river, enjoyable walk into Glasgow in good weather. Ideal for SEC and Hydro and on the sightseeing bus tour route.
Have previously stayed here on business but this was a leisure visit. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, I brought a friend who was badly needing a break and she was very impressed and also really enjoyed her stay. Just wish we could have stayed longer!!

Noisy corridor, no newspapers as requestedPosted Jun 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
I have stayed in Crown Plaza hotels before but this was the most disappointing with regards to service, I think it was a very busy week end but we did not feel we were heard.
