Pros: openness from the staff and management to discuss a previous issue
Cons: It could have a kettle in the room
Location: Good location and only few minutes from the Central Train station
Quite comfortable, easy access and clean toilette. The management staff were also open to discuss a previous issue.

Nice hostel in the city center of Glasgow

Posted Jun 21, 2015
EuroHostel is a pleasent hostel. I booked a twin room. The facilities were ok. The staff very friendly. The only thing that I could complain about was the cleanliness of the bathroom. It should be definitly improved.

Expect a Hostel

Posted Jun 20, 2015
The bathroom smelled of urine and the beds were essentially springs, but it's a hostel for dirt cheap. I didn't expect much.

Albergo fatiscente,camera sporca, lenzuola sporch

Posted Jun 10, 2015
Pros: Nulla a parte la posizione
Cons: tutti
Location: posizione quasi centrale rispetto al centro città.
L'unica cosa positiva dell'hotel è la sua posizione molto vicina al centro città. Nessun altro aspetto positivo, anzi tutto il resto è da dimenticare.

You get what you pay for.

Posted Jun 10, 2015
Pros: The price is excellent for the location.
Cons: Bedrooms could do with a paint.
Location: 5-10 min walk from the the Hydro. Lots of shops, bars etc on the street round the corner.
The hostel looks nice from the outside and the main foyer and bar/ cafe are lovely. The rooms are obviously basic but clean, and bed covers were clean, beds comfy. Rooms could do with a paint, but other than that very happy.

basic hotel / hostel, prima locatie

Posted May 28, 2015

If you don't mind hostels, Stay Here!!

Posted May 27, 2015
Great location! It has a comfy bar with reasonable prices, great place to meet people! Breakfast could have been better, might want to try it for one day, before you pay for your entire stay. The only real issue we had was with other guests being loud. If you're not okay with hostels, then don't stay at a hostel, right?! We enjoyed our stay. Also, don't miss St Andrews (and Old St Andrews mini golf) find a way, it was an amazing side trip, done in a day!

Affordable Hostel with a "Hotel-like" feel

Posted May 25, 2015
Pros: Hostel prices with a hotel feel.
Cons: The hostel was under constuction (renos) at the time and only one elevator was operational but once these are fixed it should be better.
Location: Close to George Square and the Hop On Hop Off. Close to both the Central and Queen Street station. Tescos nearby for groceries and snacks.
We stayed in a private room with a bunk bed, which included a private bathroom, tv and complimentary towels. The room didn't offer much space to spread out and the shower was somewhat claustrophobic but the room was clean and tidy. The hostel as a whole, feels more like a hotel than a hostel and the demographics of the guests seem to vary a lot. With that it mind, you can still end up with some gap year partiers next door, and the walls are somewhat thin so I would bring ear plugs just in case. Despite a bit of noise and a lack of space, the price was a third of what we would have paid elsewhere so we couldn't really complain.

Overnight stay before flight

Posted May 12, 2015
Pros: It was very convenient for transport to and from the airport.
Cons: it was very loud.
Location: It is on a busy street with many restaurants and shops.
We stayed here overnight before an early morning flight. The hostel is within a 10 minute walk of the pick up and drop off points of the Glasgow 500 airport shuttle. The staff were friendly and check in and check out were fast and easy. We had room 410 which is a private room with bunk beds. The hot water and Wifi were good. One of the windows didn't close completely and there was a lot of street noise. This is a busy hostel and loud in the halls, even in the evening. We had ear plugs and it was only one night, so it was fine for us. The staff member at the desk thanked us for reporting the issue with the window at checkout and assured us it would be fixed promptly. All in all, it was a good value for what we got.

The hotel was scary. Not a good experience. Neighbors very very noisy. Location ok, but they were having construction. Bed not so good, same with the washrooms.
