A wonderful place to stay, very clean,staff was incredible. Close to subway and bus very close.The restaurant was excellant, good service and great food. The steam room and pool services very nice. A do again!!!

The Swallow is primarily a hotel for business travelers and on game day a close hotel to the soccer teams stadium. The hotel represents an excellent value without the extras seen in a more tourist oriented inn. The restaurant is great with a good (for Scotland) bar and the entire hotel staff is outstanding. A solid above average hotel. The hotel offers sufficient free parking a definate advantage.

Clean Hotel with very friendly staff, rooms could be doing with a lick of paint, but saying that the rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. I would use this hotel again.

“Fair accommodation for the money”

I stayed here after an overnight flight into Glasgow. I found the hotel to be more than adequate. The restaurant/lounge and leisure facilities were outstanding. The rooms were a bit claustrophobic, but neatly kept. The hotel is a little awkwardly placed with regard to both the airport and central attractions, but it is fairly near to the metro for travel.

“Good for the money!”

I was very satisfied with my stay here. The staff was friendly and one man even entertained my friend and I with his take on an American accent. The rooms don't look like the pictures given...they're better! I was impressed with the bathrooms as well. I'd say the only thing going against you is the location; make sure you figure out where you are coming from on the map beforehand. The surrounding neighborhood isn't the most cheery, but the undeground is a block away. If you have a chance though, check out Punjabi's across the street. Great Indian food! Overall, it's a good price for a nice hotel.

“4* service in 2* hotel”

the ground floor of the hotel is well decorated HOWEVER the bedrooms are well past a refit ie holes in wall, wallpaper torn, dints in doors & furniture out of date many years ago. Having said that the service from the over stretched staff was equal to a much higher class of hotel & helpfullnes never a problem. For the price I paid the rooms were comfy, service ++ will go again

“Cheap and cheerful”

Stayed here mid-week for one night only. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Room was very comfortable, although could have done with some updating. Bathroom was clean and bed was very comfortable. No tea/coffee making facilities in room though, drinks only available through room service.

“Great Value near the A8.”

The exterior view of the hotel is not very impressive but the interior has been remodelled and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Car parking available which is a great boon in Glasgow. There is also a swimming pool and gym adjacent. Overall great value for money.
