Great location

Posted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: The position and facilities were great.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Location is the airport and the main purpose is to catch a plane
The hotel was in the perfect location to walk to the airport and return the hire car with no trouble. It had great facilities and excellent food. It was a very convenient stopover.

Very convenient to airport

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Convenience to airport
Location: You can get a day pass on the number 747 bus for 4 pounds 10 p which takes you right from the terminal, down town (slowly).
The hotel room was clean and comfortable, and despite being close to the motorway and airport, we did not find it noisy. The staff were friendly and very helpful. A short, mostly covered walk from the airport terminal, turn left coming out of the terminal past the rental car signs. The free breakfast was fine, the dinner was OK but nothing special. The price was right.

Exclellent for early am flight.

I was so pleased. I arrived from Glasgow at 10 am to drop off bags for a day in Paisley. Room was already ready. Very nice to settle in first. Easy and well lighted walk to airport. The restaurant which is also looks like a comfortable lobby has good food, friendly staff and just right for an evening before a flight. Room was large, very clean and comfortable. Liked the pillows labeled 'soft' and 'firm'. If you are looking for Scottish atmosphere this is not the place. It is attractive and very functional. Short taxi or bus ride to Paisley which is an interesting old weaving and thread mill town.

Pros: The location and the clean comfy room.
Cons: Nothing, it was great.
Location: Right across the road from the airport and close to all the rental car agencies. Perfect for travelers who need to be at the airport early.
Great hotel right across the road from Glasgow Airport but very quiet and comfortable. The rooms are lovely and clean and the food is delicious.

Airport confusion

Posted Jun 17, 2014
If a guest requests boarding passes print out please inform them they are at the wrong airport for Ryan air flights...we barely made our flight from Prestwick after going to the terminal across from your hotel & being told we were at the wrong airport

Very good hotel for what we needed, just came off a flight from antalya at half 2 in morning, and the close proximity of hotel was just excellent. Only a 5mins walk and within 15mins of collecting our bags we were in bed at the hotel. Absolutely magic

I chose this hotel after looking at its location on Google maps. We used both public transit and National car rental, and the location could not have been better. A short walk under the covered walkway took us right to the bus we needed to get into the city center, without having to walk to the other end of the terminal. So we took the express bus into Glasgow the night before our departure, which was the next morning. National/Thrifty car rental was virtually next to the Holiday Inn express. Our room was as promised through the Expedia booking and it was clean. The hotel staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating and the dinner we had there was excellent. Breakfast had a wide selection of hot and cold dishes, including various coffee choices. The bed was firmer than I prefer but tolerable. I just slept on my stomach so my back wouldn't lock up. The polyester fiberfill pillows had seen better days and were lumpy, but clean. It could be an inexpensive improvement. Overall, I would book that same hotel again should we ever return there.
