Convenient stay

We were at an event in the Royal Concert Hall. This hotel is in an excellent location. Once the car was parked (just across the road) it was a very short walk to the hotel and the Concert Hall. Would also serve well for a shopping visit to Glasgow. For its 3 star grading this hotel exceeded expectations.

Pros: central location
All staff were extremely helpful and polite breakfast was ideal, great start to the date room was good, liked the idea of the night light in the bathroom - ideal if you had been travelling with children good central location - 2 minutes from the bus station, and very close to Queen Street station, and also very close to the shops!

Pros: See above but convenience is high on list... Near bus station... Concert hall
Cons: See above hair drier an breakfast.... Better quality bread.... Eggs a bit weird...
Location: See above
Everything about our hotel stay was excellent.... It's very reasonably priced... Staff are amazingly friendly and amazingly have time to talk to hotel guests...at breakfast at reception.... Some things are basic... Hair drier... Breakfast but everything is there and in plentiful supply.... Rooms are well cleaned and spruced up from messy to neat ... Thanks.... We had a great stay... It's mot the first time I've stayed here but I think staff were even more hospitable than before... Especially our breakfast hostess with dark hair who is a young looking granny and looks after her grandchildren when she's on a day off... I know she likes edinburgh and she likes fudge..... The Irish gentleman fron dublin was mega friendly and helpful... But actually all staff were great.... Ice from the bar alarm call.... It goes on...

Fantastic service, excellent disabled facilities.

Posted Jan 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
I have stayed here now a number of times with my disabled mother and young son before events at the Clyde Auditorium or Hydro. Excellent location with car park directly across the road disabled parking on ground level right at the car park door which is directly across from the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only downside is the problems with breakfast as the space for getting food is very small and you have to make multiple trips back and forward with plates, cups etc to a table.
