“Excellent hotel”

Very friendly and attentive staff throughout the hotel.

“A first class hotel with great service but...................”

Regretfully, as a disabled driver with a disabled passenger, the shortage of designated parking for the disabled took the edge off the enjoyment of my stay. There are only three marked spaces available for disabled drivers, clearly not enough for such a large hotel. I hope hotel management review this as a matter of urgency.

“Comfortable & Convenient”

Hotel room was comfortable and clean and up to expectations. Food was OK and extra to room rate. Plenty of soft & hard pillows. Located within walking distance of Glasgow Central Rail Station. Across road from City Tour Bus, so for a weekend it was most convenient. Two day tour ticket with 'get off & get on' made exploring Glasgow easy & not expensive. Visit to Charles Rennie Mackintosh house, Willow Tea Rooms and Tall Ship well worth the time. Shopping in Apple store good!

“Execellent, friendly look forward to going back”

From the friendly welcome through very speedy registration, cheerful staff who help with bags into a spelndid room with magnificent views over Glasgow, I could not fault this hotel. The meals were very good and reasonably priced. It was superb experience.

“Home sweet hotel”

Although I would have to say that this Marriott was no more special than any other, our real opinion was formed after staying in other establishments (non-Marriott) during the latter portion of our trip, during which we travelled outside of Glasgow. We specifically missed the front desk staff which graciously assisted us with a number of requests. The leisure club amenities (i.e. pool, steam, sauna, and fitness club) were also features that we frequently enjoyed, and truly missed following our departure. For those driving while visiting, this location couldn't be any better. While remaining quiet, the front entrance is approximately 100 yards from the M8 exit. Furthermore, the proximity of the hotel to the downtown area made walking to a number of restaurants and pubs very convenient. We absolutely enjoyed our stay, and we will certainly stay there again on future visits back to Glasgow.

“Highly recommend this hotel!”

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel was close to shopping, eateries and pubs. We took the taxies to various locations as they were quite a disance to walk for us seniors. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful in obtaining touring info and taxies. Great hotel. Very clean and comfortable. It was a welcome sight at the end of our shopping and touring. Will definetly stay there again!!

Lovely hotel, excellent service, excellent value. The staff were unfailingly helpful. Food was nice too.

“Very enjoyable stay”

The staff were very excellent , helping with all sorts of problems be it booking restaurants etc. One hting alll though they are helful the restaurant staff, are not over polite. On one occasion during dinner the staff stood on my foot 5 times while serving. Inparticular the Maitre D, Who was responsible for 4 of the occasions who did not even apologise. The front desk and Concierge were marvellous.
